That's rough! I wanted to be there for the interview as well, but I had already a booked a flight for the next day in advance of scheduling her interview. It sucked! But we also wanted to do the interview ASAP. Her birthday was the day after the interview and she got approved and I was there by 8 am the next day so it was a great birthday gift, but frustrating nonetheless! I am 34 and she is 21 and they did not bring up anything about the age difference at the interview. The interviewer did, however, complement her ring :D

Aw that sucks, and I don't think I'll get September 6 at this point either but, September 13!! High hopes for that date, hopefully I'll see you that day it'd be nice to :)

Its okay - My fiancé is going through some major home renovations on his rental suite right now (just finishing up this next month). so hes over the top stressed between this process, work, and renovating the last 7 months!!! so our lives have been a little hectic lately. He keeps saying after all this we will have a great relationship as the battles we have been through have been insane! Sometimes I felt like I was in this alone as he was over his head in renos but we have to stay strong! that's what marriage is about right! the light is at the end of the tunnel !! soon lets hope!

ooh that's who I'm planning to use! He's got one of the best reviews especially with service. Do you mind linking me to your review? Also, how long did it take before your medical stuff was ready to pick up?

Yep!

I had mine couriered to me for $50 so I didn't have to go back and pick them up:

08/10/2017 – medical exam @ 3:00 PM

08/15/2017 – Dr. Lyndon’s office emailed tracking number for medical

08/16/2017 – Medical results arrived via Purolator

Anyone have any idea why CEAC would show case created 6-9, but when I called NVC after that date they indicated to me they did not have their case? Incompetency?

Probably because you didn't call immigrant line, option 5, who are the people that deal with electronic cases.

I don't know if it's still the case, but what used to happen back then it's the reps on the other lines/options couldn't see the electronic cases because they use a different system they couldn't access to :)

Lol, not exactly incompetence for once :P

Normally it's option 7. We called 5 yesterday (first time calling) and funny enough the guy told us to call 7 next time because they deal with electronic cases only. I guess he knows we are not going to be one of those because of my Embassy being Madrid... That or he has a crystal ball, considering the case hadn't been received yet :P

Ya I am pretty sure 7 cant see electronic cases but they can see that you are an electronic case if you are.. they just cant give you the info behind it

and 5 can view both.. because they have to log out of one system and into another to see the electronic. since I called 7 than was told to call 5 and 5 told me they didn't have anything but I specified I'm electronic and than they were like OHHHH you are one of those new cases... switched to their other system and found me. good grief! right?! lol

Well, I'm clueless, lol. I assumed they could not see if you were electronic, but they see nothing, and that was why people were said their cases hadn't been received...

Hoping 7 can tell if you are electronic to avoid delays... Though in the end it doesn't really make a difference, because the case will be send to the Embassy whether we can see it or not, I'd still rather being able to track that. Must feel good to be able to get feedback and info after being in the dark so long :P

I wanted to share again the website that we are gonna be using when we book his flight to the U.S. because the prices are so amazing. After checking prices on this site, then going to the airline sites directly, this site is definitely much cheaper.
I do have to say/warn:
1. that the prices are ALWAYS changing on this site per day... sometimes per hour
2. watch out for longer layovers because sometimes, it actually includes a change in airports that can be up to two hours away
3. if you can find shorter flight times, that usually means not only less of a layover, but no change in airports
4. I would not recommend a flight that included WOW air.. they nickel and dime you for everything and include absolutely nothing.
5. Blueair and Norwegian flights, from what I have seen, include 2 free checked bags

The other night when I was checking, the flight from Bucharest, Romania, it was only 19 hrs, and with a layover in Stockholm that was under 3 hours, included Blueair and Norwegian I believe... or Ryan air and not Blue, can't remember, but the 2 checked bags were free and it would have only been $284 euros + a $25 euro service fee... I think that is crazy! Although we have not purchased yet, it was mighty tempting!!  Just wanted to give ya an example of the crazy prices that can be found on this website.
Hope this helps any who were wanting to save some money on airfare =)
My F booked his ticket through this website to fly back from Germany tomorrow which was only $28 euros!! Also a crazy price! hehe ... so, we will see how it goes!
https://www.vola.ro/

Oh!!! And my F will be flying in to LA because that is where they go on the West Coast and fly from there to Seattle with a separate booking that I am gonna do through Alaska Airlines... it is so much cheaper this route because it is CHEAP to fly in and out of LA for any who are closer to the west coast.
And long story short I ended up with $114.00 in credits with Alaska Air ( that has to be used up by the end of Oct) and airfare to and from LA is only $60 so, I am gonna go down and meet him when he gets here =)
