Good morning, dear marchies!

Quick question - how many of you with noa2 received a letter from NVC with case number and next steps?

Our attorney says we have to wait until we will receive. And I have no patience left for another waiting line :(

did you try calling NVC? Or, did you get your case number? My fiance told me that he received a letter that needs his signature. I just checked the status in ceac and it shows in transit. So i assume the letter that my fiance received is the letter from NVC. I have to check it with him when he wakes up.

You'll probably get contacted by your Embassy before you get a letter from NVC, because they are slow, plus apparently they don't always send one.

Anyway, NVC don't provide information on the next steps because those are country specific. So I'm sure you already know how it works for Ukraine. Be ready to move whenever the Embassy contacts you. :)

Yeah, I know that its supposed to be like this. We are waiting till Frinday (two weeks from now2) to call nvc and figure out if they received our case. Just wanted to clarify if letter from nvc is a common thing cause our attorney position is not exceptable at all. Another waiting line for the thing that might never happen makes me stressful.

Don't worry. Even if you don't get an email or letter from NVC, once you get the case number they are going to advice you to start working on the DS-160, so I can't imagine your lawyer keeping adamant on still waiting for the letter, and there's not really much more to do until the Embassy contacts you, since sure you already have the rest of the documents ready :)
