I would appreciate it more than you know. I live in boynton beach and my office is in Fort Lauderdale. I would more than love to take you out to dinner or repay you for any help or tips you can give me. Thank you endlessly

HAHAHA  Well, Hi Neighbor! Thanx but not necessary, we are all here to help each other.  Besides, I'm pretty sure any tips I may have are just what is already here in the threads somewhere.  Sent you PM with my experience, hope it helps.  Just be as patient as you can and expect 6 months and be happy with anything earlier.  I made calling uscis a personal challenge, and kept track of the time it took to get to Tier 2.... Funny, because my last call to them was the longest - 14min 14sec lol.  My fastest time was 5min 6sec....  It just helped take the aggravation out of the process.  This is absolutely the hardest part of the process.  After NVC, it's at your own pace - hopefully a lot faster :)

It's not hard.

Look up your local congressman or senator ( try this:  https://www.usa.gov/elected-officials  )

When you find them, try to find a local office near you. NOT the office in DC.

Call them and explain you want to do an inquiry.

Most likely you will get transferred to an immigration specialist.

They'll likely tell you to download a privacy act release form from their website. Send that form and your NOA1 to them, then wait.

Not all offices are as useful as others. If one doesn't do anything, try the other senator or your district congressman.

Thanks, it seems uscis is only reviewing april people now unless a congressional inquiries is submitted as with the Japan march person who just received noa2.

You got your case number though, right? Can the medical be done while waiting for it to arrive at the embassy? I was under the impression that this is the typical protocol/process in Romania.. as long as you have been assigned a case # you can start on things.
I know for me, I called NVC earlier today and spoke with someone at about 10:20am and they still have not received my case yet... was kinda hoping today would be the day since its been two weeks. I will be making a point to call every day now lol I just want that case #  hehe

It actually depends per country. I suggest you to wait until the status says "ready" and received by your embassy. I will schedule my medical once i have an appointment date. I got my case number from NVC August 17 so i hope by the end of this month it will forwarded to the embassy here in Abu Dhabi.
