Yep! 15 days to NVC#. Case went to "In Transit" on a Friday, so I believe it just took until Monday for someone to log in at the embassy and accept the files. Anna will be paying the visa fee tomorrow and hopefully looking at interview date possibilities.

Wow, that was quick!

Happy for you!

Hope our case will move same way!

So .. house went up for sale today, waiting for my case to leave the NVC. Got my Police clearance and all other documents in place. As soon as the case change to "Ready" then I am booking medical and interview asap. Wait for the house to sell, put the money in the bank and buy a plane ticket .. simples

Things are getting real now

That is an important step made!

Keep fingures crossed for you! Good luck!

I'm so happy to have a NOA2 and My Fiancee is twice as happy - She's been the silent warrior behind the scenes with her patience and encouragement.  Y'all don't know but she has the log in credentials but just lurks and has yet to utter a word in here - I believe she thinks I say enough for both of us - but from the bottom of my heart all the congratulations, and endorsements to our announcement yesterday - I really want to say thank you to all of you who have supported us for 5 months...... @twinee @LabOz @Estibaliz @dkmfan85 @troika @PB&FM @BahamaIslander242 @Nhona Scott @JloveN @lon552 @P and L @Kateryna_I @Yzabelle @falcao79 @holly @NovaDC @TearsOfBabylon @SChamb and so many more that I am at a loss to remember at this time.....

THANX!!!!!!!

Now, for anyone else without a noa2, let's focus on getting you across this finish line.   No One gets left behind in the March Filers!!!!!

You are very welcome!

You've been such a great support for all of us during noa2 waiting line.

Totally deserved reward back! ;)

My girl got her packet 3 and has done the DS160 online and paid for the visa but is now confused about what exactly to send to the embassy with the packet 3 in order to get our interview scheduled. The packet 3 information Pdf file on the USCIS site shows all the documents needed for the interview but do you send all that to the embassy also with the packet 3 or just certain documents like the printout of the DS160, the GSS, and the visa payment receipt? Really confused and at a stand still right now. Any help?

After NVC a lot of the steps are embassy specific. What country is your fiance from?

At least I also see my fiance this weekend, She is coming for a last visit for a week as we might not be back here for a long time.

Thank you so much! ;)

You are so lucky to see her such soon.

When you say "check the items off and send that list" do you mean send the list itself or send all the documents and things that are on the list? This stuff is seriously confusing to me.

Every country is different at this stage. As an example, I do have to mail all the documents to the Embassy first thing after they contact me.

Don't go for what people from different countries tell you, because I've seen that causing trouble before. Since you have already received packet 3 with the instructions, read carefully what they say, because sure the answer is there. And, when in doubt, talk to someone that has gone through the same Embassy or send an email to the Embassy itself.

:)

Yep!  Getting Real.

That's a surreal moment, as you see that this is really happening.  A major life change like this is really something like a leap of faith.... Something I'm sure that I believe only a beneficiary can truly comprehend. Every worldly possession regardless of size has to have a disposition made, and only the minimum of how many years can fit into 2 suitcases and 1 carry on luggage - a whole life boiled down to that for a new start.  I pray your home sells quickly and it goes expediantly - it has to...... Game Day is coming up FAST!!

It all depends on the house. I am sure I will have my visa before the house sale goes through, so as soon as the money is in the bank, I am gone :jest:I actually like the fact that I declutter and start over, like a reset button.

Good luck with your case, it does seem like things are moving quite quickly now after the horrible USCIS blackhole.

I did something similar 3 yrs ago.  All of a sudden, I realized the door was open for me to move to Miami.  I owned a business, a farm, and had a job that all needed something done with them.  It all fell into place in a few months, the business sold - farm sold - and got job transferred to our Florida location.  I liked the experience as well, I minimized to what was important, and started off fresh and feel like I have been on vacation for 3 years.  I met my Fiancee out of the blue and it's been a fairy tale ever since (except uscis lol but I chalk that up to a good example of our commitment to this cause).  Really looking forward to your POE.  Hopefully by October 14th Ohio State @ Huskers game!!!  The only game I don't root for Nebraska :D  I'm a Buckeye for life :)
