I'm so happy to have a NOA2 and My Fiancee is twice as happy - She's been the silent warrior behind the scenes with her patience and encouragement.  Y'all don't know but she has the log in credentials but just lurks and has yet to utter a word in here - I believe she thinks I say enough for both of us - but from the bottom of my heart all the congratulations, and endorsements to our announcement yesterday - I really want to say thank you to all of you who have supported us for 5 months...... @twinee @LabOz @Estibaliz @dkmfan85 @troika @PB&FM @BahamaIslander242 @Nhona Scott @JloveN @lon552 @P and L @Kateryna_I @Yzabelle @falcao79 @holly @NovaDC @TearsOfBabylon @SChamb and so many more that I am at a loss to remember at this time.....

THANX!!!!!!!

Now, for anyone else without a noa2, let's focus on getting you across this finish line.   No One gets left behind in the March Filers!!!!!

I think I know that tier2 with a Japanese wife. My fiance spoke to that officer too two times before. He's really nice but How come he has no idea if you got approved or not? He has access to the system. He can see whats going on with our cases.

How long has it been since you received the email from them?

I'm guessing they really haven't made a decision yet that's why he has no idea.

we got the reply to the service request just around Aug 15.

My girl got her packet 3 and has done the DS160 online and paid for the visa but is now confused about what exactly to send to the embassy with the packet 3 in order to get our interview scheduled. The packet 3 information Pdf file on the USCIS site shows all the documents needed for the interview but do you send all that to the embassy also with the packet 3 or just certain documents like the printout of the DS160, the GSS, and the visa payment receipt? Really confused and at a stand still right now. Any help?

Woke up to a message from my fiancee saying she received a call from the embassy and packet 3 in my e-mail.

Great great news! Yay! Happy for you!!!

So it took you 3 weeks from noa2 notice date to get to the embassy, right?

Don't forget to PM me available dates for interview in September ;)

Yep! 15 days to NVC#. Case went to "In Transit" on a Friday, so I believe it just took until Monday for someone to log in at the embassy and accept the files. Anna will be paying the visa fee tomorrow and hopefully looking at interview date possibilities.

For us in Canada packet 3 is a checklist you check the items off and send that list plus the receipt and a copy of the beneficiary's passport biographical page. I think. I am out of town for work and not at my desktop to look. Hopefully someone else can add to this.

When you say "check the items off and send that list" do you mean send the list itself or send all the documents and things that are on the list? This stuff is seriously confusing to me.

I am not proud to say I reached the no Noa2 151 days club today. Im thinking our file got lost in a pile, I was told on July 24 our file was being adjudicated. Oh well on a positive note going to see my Fiance this weekend. One thing I am sure of we will get this done by end of year :)

We send the list itself. The stuff on the list you bring to the interview. They just want to know you are ready to have the interview.
