We did our medical yesterday. Nothing horrible but quite time consuming.

My son managed to get his arm with the skin test wet, hopefully there's no need to have an X-ray done on Monday.

Great news! Everything will be OK, don't worry! ;)

Waiting for some details via PM :)

Hey guys, finally after 17 days of our case being at the NVC it says "IN TRANSIT"!! Very happy 😊 I just had a question, it says "your case is in transit to the consular section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center" a bit confused, do they just pick an interview date for us and how do we find that out?

Pretty sure that's another one of their canned messages, like the one telling you to follow the 6 steps.

Check your Embassy website to know how it works there and if there's anything you can do before they contact you, but nope, NVC doesn't provide appointments for K1's.

This really sucks, you guys :( I sympathize.

We got an RFE last June 2. We replied and they received it June 16. It's been two months and still no word. We also did a service request and they sent us the exact same message you guys got! We spoke to Tier 2  as well and he said he has no idea if they've approved us or not and we can only wait. He also said he knows how it feels because he went through the exact same situation with his Japanese fiance. lol

I think I know that tier2 with a Japanese wife. My fiance spoke to that officer too two times before. He's really nice but How come he has no idea if you got approved or not? He has access to the system. He can see whats going on with our cases.

How long has it been since you received the email from them?

Hello everyone! :)) Just passing by to say congratulations to those who got an approval, NVC and got approved during the interview! :))

4 more nights for me until my interview ❤️ i can no longer understand how I'm feeling.. reading experiences during their interviews makes me feel positive but yesterday, I've read an experience who got 221g.. her interview was yesterday in US EMBASSY manila.. she said she brought everything all the their evidences yet the consulate wasn't convinced that their relationship is real.. so the consulate told her to submit more evidences. Imagine, they are already 4 years in a relationship? Met 4x? When we checked her Facebook profile yesterday, there wasn't even a picture of her with her fiancé.. Must be the reason why the consulate wasn't convinced at all. She was too strict. She even told the applicant, "THERE'S NO REASON TO SMILE"

Now I'm feeling anxious. I don't want to fall in line on her window hahaha!😣😣😣

And to those who are still waiting, please hang in there! 😊😘😘 You guys will get it very soon!

On august 6 we emailed csc and told all our frustrations about the case. I even said there to let my email message be seen and read by an officer. I told them how its taking so long and that it will reach the 5-month period the next few days. So I asked them if they could give us a real update about our I-129f petition. On august 11 We received an email from csc (see attached  image below) and that was their response. It gave me hope, that at least they are now working on it, I suppose. So I waited and hoped for a good news coming the whole week and it never came. My fiance called uscis and spoke to a tier 2 officer and he said right now no officer was assigned to our case yet, andy f said well u guys said its currently adjudicating and he said back well im not sure if its sitting on an officer desk right now and waiting in line or maybe its still on the shelves. My hope was immediately dropped from 100 to zero real quick. I just dont understand why they would send us as an email as response to our inquiry telling us our case is currently being adjudicated and then tells us differently now saying our case was not assigned to an officer yet. It made me so confused! Someone please enlighten me. They are so inconsistent. We got our hopes up when we received their email a week ago and when my fiance called this morning I was crashed. 😭☹️IMG_9953.thumb.JPG.f5d7201bb306d707f13587b1f1f7d697.JPG

To them Adjudicated can mean sitting on a shelf waiting to be worked.

So .. I was wondering now that I have this and my LND Case# from NVC, although my case still says, "At NVC". Should I wait until "Ready" before booking my medical or can I go for that at least ?

It's possible in most countries, but check your embassy website.

Hey friends - quick advice! We have our case number and invoice number from the NVC. We are completing the DS 160 so we can schedule our appointment. One of the final pieces is that we certify we've received a hard copy of the IMBRA pamphlet...we've not get received our packet from the embassy, but he reviewed the IMBRA pamphlet online. Should we go ahead and submit the form?

I completed the DS-160 and checked that box as well, tried to book an interview while the case was "At NVC" status but it didn't let me, gives an error saying "case not ready yet".

Now the tracker says "In Transit" so I'll try again. Good luck everyone!

Aug 15th - NVC Receive

Aug 15th - Case #

Aug 19th - In Transit
