I got an RFE notification today which is bittersweet! I! Excited after 4 months I finally have a response but sad it'll be a delay. That being said, does anyone know how much an RFE can delay things? If I send whatever is required by next week can I expect to hear back soon?

yes not only are the NOA2's behind they are now behind in RFE's.

They must be working some other class of cases and just devote limited time per day for honey bunnies.

Called Tier 2 today and they assured me I have at least 45 days to approval (yeah, funny isn't it - surprisingly they are still on Feb 1st)  So might as well go to the North Shore and enjoy family for a few days.

Any approvals, be sure to scream them loud, I'll be checking for them  

  

Have a fun and safe trip! Hopefully you find something in the mail when you get back! Either that, or we'll find they rolled the website back to processing petitions from January 2016. At this point, nothing would really come as a surprise, I'm afraid.

I went to the dentist today to get the only filling I have in my mouth redone as it was coming loose after 25 years. Then after I paid for that the receptionist was like oh we should schedule your yearly checkup and cleaning. I said ah I don't have my appointment book on me and then the dental hygenist who was listening said well my 4pm appt is a no show I could stick you in now. So I said why not. LOL So now I have very clean teeth and my mouth is still frozen on the left side. Man I hate eating with a frozen mouth. LOL

 

Wonderful to see those approvals coming in today. Hope more trickle in later

It's good to know your case was reviewed, but at this point, we don't know how long RFEs took. Previous to July of this year it was a completely different ball game.

Just FYI -- though it sounds like some of you have seen it  -- it looks like the USCIS status is actually working, our case updated to show approved today.

 

Our attorney also called since he'd gotten notified.

 

What's interesting is the email to the senator's aide says it was approved on 8/11, the USCIS and my layer say 8/14. Hmmmmmmmm...

Mine was the same way. 8/11 approved per USCIS Tier 2 but App and website says 8/14
