No problem at all, but remember to cancel the return trip later on, so there's no misunderstanding with them thinking you left the country abandoning your AOS.

Have to say £120 is a nice saving, but kind of ridiculous when the difference between one way and round trip for my tickets are 1000€ or more :P

It is ridiculous, indeed.
Since I checked around... Normal Eco Roundtrip from here to Norfolk,VA is 1000-1200€, depending on how late you book.
One way to Norfolk is 1800-3000€.

Now I'm going one way to Richmond, VA for 1200€, but it's Premium Eco. Since it's about the same as for a roundtrip it's ok.

I've heard that's because the airlines are "calculating" with you taking your seat backwards. If there's too many one wayers it's hard to fill their planes. No clue if that works.

And of course, like @tpeach said, the greatest amount of people going to the US have to have a flight back.

Congrats! You're on the fast track now.

Go ahead and fill up DS 160 and then Print out the MRV, so that you can pay your visa fee to schedule your interview.

Medical has no appointment, but make sure to have it 1-2 weeks before your scheduled interview.

Good Luck!!

Did you have your NBI clearance yet?

What's the best way to get NBI clearance?  Does it take a whole day?

It's 2 weeks already from the time they updated our case to RFE received. How long is the usual waiting for the response? And can I make an online inquiry even though I am the beneficiary? Thanks!

I am at 38 days waiting for rfe response.    Hope yours is quicker... There is reallly no way to calculate. Only thing they will tell you is they have 45-60 days to respond to hour rfe..

stay positive and patient

I'm sorry. This wait sucks. My Senator is working on getting it pushed through. I don't understand how they skipped over some to approve others and have no real answer of why...
