Having booked the flight for September with my K1 I take it won't be a problem flying on a return ticket as it was over £120 cheaper than a one way ticket

No problem at all, but remember to cancel the return trip later on, so there's no misunderstanding with them thinking you left the country abandoning your AOS.

Have to say £120 is a nice saving, but kind of ridiculous when the difference between one way and round trip for my tickets are 1000€ or more :P

Oh ok 😁 thanks for your friendly advice 😁 I just don't get why Airlines charge more for a one way ticket as opposed to a return trip 🤔🤔

The thing is that the Airlines are on the hook to return you back to your country if you are denied at the border, so they charge more to cover the added cost just in case.

And yes Chris opened the mail on skype with me just now and.......we are APPROVED!!!! Notice Date: August 9, 2017 Updating my timeline now :)

Yay!!! Congrats!! I'm so happy for you! I know how difficult it was to be waiting so long. I had been away for several days and when I logged back on yesterday I was specifically hoping to see your approval! You will be with him before you know it! :)

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered "Man.... Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."

OMG!! :o

You are lucky you were early March NOA1 Adry2017. If you had waited another week you would have been delayed several months and waiting with the rest of us. They have only approved 3 out of 7 Colombia march noa1s since you were approved on 6/30/2017 and have not approved any april Colombia people yet on visajourney.

It's true, I'm so sorry.

Seriously, it's ridiculous how USCIS goes through cases.

I really hope I'll be able to make it there and be married on October 1st. We wanted it to be January 1st but nope!! no way in hell, we are SOO done with waiting!

Wow thats super quick. I sure hope so for me and my man too. The 23rd of this months is 2 weeks from NOA2 so I am hoping. Yeah I just said to Chris I think I could be down there for October still and he said OMG OMG OMG yes. lol
