@Nathan&Amy So this is the screen shot from when my fiance scheduled her interview. This seems pretty straight forward to me and feel like if K visas needed to select the Immigrant Visa option, there would be wayyyy more mix ups.

**Edit - it looks like the person in the review booked an immigrant visa instead of a K-1 Visa interview. Do your confirmation e-mails say k-visa?

Ok thank you! Yes my confirmation email subject is Yatri: U.S. DoS K Visa Application Confirmation (action required) and it looks just like the one you posted. Hopefully it is ok.

In case you are wondering where we are at,

and using some really rough math........

We are in the 33% of unapproved petitions from March, so the pool to pick from has grown smaller

However, about 1700 approvals have been awarded to petitioners filing after our received date.

Thank you for the stats!

I think I wouldn't mind it so much if it was within the ballpark of our expectations, which was 90-120 days, for a place like Denmark.  But it's been over 150 days.  Having no information at all, I can't tell if there's just something wrong or what.. Either way, it seems unfair that these don't get processed sequentially.

Hello.

Please help me. On 8/8/17 I got the mail from NVC that they will forward our petition to the US embassy in Manila.

And the next step is to visit their website http://nvc.state.gov/k1

As I check the second step on applying a visa.

It says to complete the DS-160 , Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application.

Did you also fill up the DS-160? because I'm a bit confused.

As I track our case on the Nonimmigrant case tracker with the NVC case number, it says that its invalid.

But when I tried to track it on the Immigrant case tracker. I found our case status.

Should my fiance fill up the DS-160 or the DS-260?

K1's fill the DS-160. The other one is for spousal visas :)

But yes, when tracking your case on the ceac website, select Immigrant.

hello!

guys, i need your advice , maybe I missed the posts related to this topic:

In march , when we applied for the k1 , me-beneficiary- i put down my address in the UAE where i used to live at that time; now I no longer live over there , shall we inform NVC about the change of address of beneficiary ? we got the noa2 on the 8th of August, we don't have yet an NVC number. shall we call them now and inform about this address change , shall we call the Embassy in Romania?

I think you can ask NVC when calling for your number, but most likely you'll have to contact the Embassy. Maybe email them when your case shows as ready at the ceac website and provide them with your new contact info before they send you anything themselves.

In any case, give it a try at USCIS. You have time to fix it and sure it won't be that complicated :)

Good luck!
