Long story short... I picked the only available interview date throughout August and September, which is August 17th. It didn't seem like I have a choice since my petition expires on the second week of October and I was told by my office that I might have a work trip on the beginning of October.

I had a crazy few days, still do. Called the panel doctor for a medical examination on Tuesday. Went to the medical examination the following day. Was told to pick up my medical report on August 16th.

As for the documents, I collected almost everything except for my Australian Police Certificate. This is required as I spent a few years  in Australia. The Australian Federal Police (AFP) only mail their certificates through standard international mail. It will take about 20 working days to get here. That's about a month. I ordered this on the last week of July thinking that it will be in time for a September interview. Since I was told that August 17th is the only available slot in two months, I had no choice but to call the AFP to send another copy to a friend in Australia so that she could express mail it to me. It's still on the way to her. When it gets to her, she will send me a scanned copy plus a verification letter from her before courier it to me. This is just in case that I wouldn't received the hardcopy in time. I have my Malaysian Police Certificate as I have been staying here for the past four years. This is stressful...

Anyway, I divided my interview package into 4 clear folders;

Folder 1: Interview Confirmation, Payment Confirmation, DS-160, NOA1, NOA2, NVC Letter, Statement of Intent to Marry (both), Birth Certificate (both), Passports copy (both), Malaysian Police Certificate, Australian Police Certificate (scanned copy + verification letter or original), Medical Examination Report & Receipt.

Folder 2: Affidavit of Support, Fiancé's Bank Statements, Fiancé's Bond Statement, Fiancé's 2 Pay Stubs, Fiancé's W2 (2015 & 2016), Fiancé's Employment Letter & Contract, my Bank Statements, my Assets Listing, my Education Record & Honor Awards, my Volunteer Record & Recommendation Letters.

Folder 3: Evidence Pack - Screenshots of a few chats from each month, screenshots of voice and video calls, immigration stamps on both passports, airline reservations & boarding passes, hotel reservations for recent summer trips, photos of us and family. Information on wedding plans - A few wedding venues and packages that we are considering. Rings - Promise ring, engagement ring & wedding bands with receipt

Folder 4: Original submission of I-129F

Did I miss anything?

I am hitting a downward spiral again so I think I am gonna take a VJ break for a few days. :) Hope you all get approvals soon. I am not counting on us ever getting one at this rate. Its driving me crazy seeing all these approvals now after my date. Oh don't get me wrong I am happy for all those April filers and end of March filers you all deserve it but honestly this gets old. Either give us an approval or freakin deny us cause right now I don't care which. I just want a decision. Day 151

Safe travels and all the best for the future! :)

Did you book the ticket right after getting the passport, or did you gamble? If so - dang, that was a close one! :)

My passport is in the mail since today, so it should arrive tomorrow or Monday.

I did not gamble. We have a honeymoon in 2.5 weeks and I wasn't about to risk 1000+. Need that money. :D

Unfortunately, the travel cost was 1600.00 because of booking it last minute. Oh well, it's worth it!

Woooop, that's plenty, but: You only pay that once and for a good reason! :)

I'm not in a hurry to get my visa in hands, because I have to fulfill my work contract until September 15th, and will fly on September 22nd.
I guess, if everything would be settled here, I'd do the same you did. My birthday is on the 17th next week, and it's really freaky that I seriously COULD have made it there for that. I was expecting end of september/beginning october EARLIEST.

Just knowing when is a huge relief though. It's the limbo that was eating me up.

Yeah, same here!
I'll be happy once the passport is back, so I KNOW where it is.
I don't mind the waiting now... I have a date, that's all I wanted. :)
These 42 days until my flight goes will go by in a heartbeat.
