I need help

i have NVC number. Now what. what are those 6 steps?

Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) that list the six steps you must take before NVC can schedule your visa interview appointment. This includes submitting to NVC various fees, forms and documents. Once NVC has received all the required items, they will let you know if anything is missing or incomplete. You can also find these instructions online at http://nvc.state.gov (English) and http://nvc.state.gov/espanol (Spanish). You will find contact information for NVC at http://nvc.state.gov/ask.

Day 150.

Nothing in informed delivery today but junk mail.

Nothing back from the senator's office so far. Today marks one week since I send in the privacy release and a copy of NOA1.

Five months and counting. I really thought something might happen this week. :(

Ours took 18 days to be received at NVC. You should give them a couple of days, like you said.
It can happen any minute :D
I called on Friday, then again on Monday and got the number! :)

And, oh yeah they ARE very nice on the phone!

I wouldn't even have started calling yet but I saw someone get theirs after 11 days so it seemed worth a shot.  I'll call again Monday when it will have actually been two weeks.  Hehe.  Such a relief they're nice about us calling and being pests.  This lady seemed a bit thrown but thankful when I told her to have a wonderful day though!  I bet they deal with some interesting people...

Yeah, I was calling "too often" as well. Was already hoping they have maaaaaaaany call center agents there, so I don't have to pester and play clueless to the same person twice, haha!
But they're very, very friendly. Like everybody I've talked to or met in this entire process.

Though I wouldn't want their job... I can only GUESS how many impatient people (like we all are) are getting very, very aggressive after a few calls with no result.

Suddenly I feel stressed out.. Or do I really have to feel this way?

Today, I've started to gather some documents and prepare the documents for the interview.. I've checked my emails where my fiancé sent me the scan of his supporting documents.. then as I was reading the content of his W2, I found out that the address of the employer in his W2, is different to the one he wrote in his G325A and his I-134. :/ what he has written in his G325a and i-134 was the exact address of where he's working, not the employer's address that's written in his W2.. What I mean here is that he wrote where the manufacture workers work.. :((  that's not my only problem here.. His company has a mother company.. The one he's working right now is just a division or let's say a sublet.. What he wrote in the company name on the forms is the name of the mother company 😣 but on the W2, the name of the sublet is written in there.. Now I'm starting to panic. Will this lead to a denial? :((

Don't worry, I wouldn't worry about this at all! I work for a huge corporation so my payroll stubs/W2 has the main Payroll location which is completely different from the actual office location where I work. I put the physical location of the office where I work on my forms and on my i-134 we are submitting. I'm sure this is super common across companies in the U.S. so don't worry.

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered "Man.... Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."
