You're very welcome :D

My fiance is from the Sancti Spiritus area. However, I have family sprinkled throughout Cuba as well. I had always been dying to go to Cuba since I was a little girl, as we say in spanish la sangre me llama (the blood calls me) and when I finally graduated from college I told my family "either you take me to Cuba or I'm going by myself!!!!" lol I'm the baby of the family so quite spoiled. Anyway, we finally went last year and saw a lot of family I had never met and my dad hadn't seen in 20 years, it was amazing. After about a week of going around the island we finally went to Cayo Santa Maria for another week to relax and do basically nothing and that's how me and my fiance met. He was working at the resort, my dad introduced us as they were speaking while my dad was waiting for my sister and I to finally be ready for dinner. I truly didn't think too much of anything when I first met him, as I had just gotten out of a bad relationship a couple years prior and wasn't looking for anything, but that same night the band was playing after dinner and I started dancing by myself, he asked to join in and then it was all over with after that lol It was funny because a lot of the guests at the resort asked if we were together and we both denied it... each and every one of them then said "well you should be" LOL. I guess it was fate of some sort.

That sounds so romantic. Fate is a funny and beautiful thing. Ah! Love is absolutely wonderful, especially when it happens when we are not looking for it, never the less with another person so far away, you know you are totally in love to endure what we are going through until we can be permanently together with our fiance's.  Ojala! that will be much sooner than we think...LOL

And I wish for us to all find NOA2 in our easter eggs! haha :)

Wishful thinking, but we gotta stay positive and patient and hang in together! :)

Thanks. I didn't think I could financially do it but we are finding a way because neither of us can be without the other much longer. I am lucky with my job I get 3 weeks vacation a year plus I bank a lot of time as well. I currently have 3 days left to use up by the end of July. Beginning of July I get my 3 weeks vacation again well technically I am not sure how much I will get. When we have our library board meeting next month they will discuss how much they are going to give me because I won't be there a full year again. But like my boss says I have the option of working an extra day a week and banking it if I want. So I am not worried. I should have more than enough to go see him in July and go to Montreal for a week for medical and the interview. As well as a few days here and there with my Mum for short road trips around the province we live in. She has plans for us. I think my Mum is going to really miss having me around. I have lived with her for almost 2 years now. Me on the other hand I am looking forward to moving out again *laughs* I did not plan on moving in with my Mum when I was 37 years old at all but its the way it had to be and it worked out considering she charged me minimal rent to stay with her because I usually do all the cooking and I mow the lawn.

It's important to make eachother a priority and it'll be nice to break up the time in between the wait. I'm right there with you, I have 3 weeks of vacation with my job as well, but I came into the year with a negative balance and then I went for a week to see mister in Feb and now I only have a week left. I plan on arriving in Havana a day before the interview that way we can spend the night in Havana, go to the interview early in the morning and then afterwards we can rent a car & go back to his house to start getting stuff ready for him to come to Houston. Hopefully I can be with him when he comes to Houston, but we'll see what happens.

Poor mom! She's trying to get as much time in as possible before the move lol. I get it though, mister's mom is having a hard time letting him go, when I went last time she was like "But, I won't be able to be there for the wedding, or when you have a baby. I'm going to be so sad and depressed. Just move to Cuba and then we can all be happy." LOL I kept trying to cheer her up by saying I'll send the grandchild during the summers. It's good that your mom will be able to visit and you can visit as well. I assume the UK isn't that difficult to visit, the worst headache is just the travel time. & you'll have a handful of months to keep living with her and spend as much time as you can before you move over to the US.

If I was in the UK I might say its not. lol I am in Canada and probably because I spell it Mum with the u. It gets people confused. My family on my Mum's side is British and Irish and my family on my Dad's side is British and Scottish and Aboriginal. Hence why my Mum is Mum. And its super easy for travel from Canada. My Mum already said she would come for our wedding. I currently live 6 miles from the USA border. I frequently cross at the border crossing a 5 minute drive from here and fly out of Devil's Lake, ND because its a heck of a lot cheaper for me. I haven't held a passport in years since I use an enhanced driver's license lol although I did apply for a passport since I need one for this process and when my drivers license comes due in September I will downgrade it back to a regular license. My Mum and I have always been close. She is close with all us kids. As for me having kids that won't happen as well I am older and well I can't have them. Luckily she has my brother and sister for grandkids. My niece who is 11 asked her Mum the other day if she could come visit me sometime and her Mum said if Auntie and Uncle say its ok you can. :) I would love to have her come down next summer for a weekend and we could take her to the zoo and lots of other things. I am probably one of the lucky ones here in that for me I have barely any time difference as he is only an hour behind me and if I were to drive to see him its only 15.5 hours from here. (I have drove that distance before in one day. Not to see him but I did last summer when I drove to visit my best friend in Wisconsin.) My sisters 1998 Malibu has taken me many places however my sister was going to give the car to me but I declined and said you guys should keep it around as a backup car. I can always save up and buy a vehicle in the states.

Oops!! SO SORRY! LOL I think I looked at Gary's icon and thought it was you... SMH. That was before I had my coffee

5 minutes from the border?? That's nothing! So with the enhanced license you can use it like a passport to get into the US? I'm not well versed in things immigration lol this whole K-1 and then adjusting status stuff is making me learn real quick.

Aww, that's awesome your mom will be able to join y'all for the wedding and you're niece is so sweet! I'm sure Colorado has a lot for kids to do like the zoo and kids museums, even going to ski with all that snow up there.. I assume. I'm in the south so I know NOTHING of snow . I know they have this thing down here where you can paint pictures or figurines, maybe looking into that too would be fun for her.. My niece is really excited too. She can't for her Tio (uncle in spanish) to finally get here because she knows she's going to have him wrapped around her little finger... more than she already does LOL! They won't be able to understand each other with her limited spanish and his limited english, but they'll make it work. Maybe they'll start their own sign language HAH!

Yep lol I figured maybe thats what happened too. Yeah with an enhanced drivers license I can go to the us through land and sea borders but I can't fly with it. You need a passport for that. However I can use it to fly in the states which is another reason why I just drive down to the closest airport in North Dakota. Colorado has so much to do and snow yes mainly in the mountains. Where I am going is by the mountains but when it snows it stays maybe two days thats it. They are whimps for cold which I am sure you would be too. I am used to having winters of 3 feet of snow or more all the time for 6 months as well as temps of -30F for days at a time. I am looking forward to a place thats warmer in the winter with less snow but still gets it because I do love snow for a bit. LOL

My niece has my fiance already wrapped around her finger too. I am sure they will have their own language and leave you all going huh! :D

In my own opinion, I think the color of the pen don't really matters cause I think they require the wet signature to confirm the sign is really genuine and not sign by a robot/android?;-)

Hello there.. Yes yes scanned was used to be allowed/accepted before as my sister also said the same thing but that was few years ago. I think US gov change the policy regarding this matter... hehe.. I added 2 screenshots of infos that thought might be helpful for everyone..

ok i see.. iLL try to tell her to better prepare one with wet signature ..i Think that's the surest thing to do.. ThankYou..

It will be fine it you sign it and scan it then email it to the petitioner to send with the packet. I've read many topics on this and a lot of people are scanning and sending it and they don't have any problems. USCIS & CSC will accept them as long as it's not a digital signature - like a typed signature. If it's a true signature they don't really care if it's wet or scanned and sent off. They DO need a wet signature on the affidavit of support though.

I think that'll be okay.

ok . ThankYou for that .. though she's expecting an RFE already she cant sit still on making sure if scanned or the  one with wet signature She'll be sending again if ever.. ThankYou Again ..
