The beneficiary will need originals for their BC, Passport, Police Cert, etc. The petitioner does not need to send original BC, Passport, etc. You should send original supporting documentation for the affidavit of support along with wet signatures on all documents.

A copy of the 1-29f package will also suffice.

Okay, thanks!  I was just confused as to the evidence we submitted with our application.  For some reason I thought I needed to send him all the boarding passes, receipts, etc. should they want to inspect anything.  I probably read that on another site when researching this whole process.  Never quite know what's standard!

Question!  I'm gathering everything I need to send to my fiance.  For some reason I thought I needed to send the originals of everything we included in our I-129F along with a copy of the whole packet but the checklist on here just says to send copies of the documentary proof?  Do I not need to send him the originals of all the boarding passes, my birth certificate, etc?

Maybe this is where you read the requirement for originals? https://uk.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/16/2016/04/iv_and_k_interview_checklist2016.pdf

I guess that is a case of "front" loading, although the official checklist of the embassy does not ask for any documentation regarding evidence of relationship ? I am going to take some anyway, but not going to give them anything unless asked.

I think that would be the best bet. and if @Rev and you haven't already (I'm sure you have), it's always a good idea to read the consulate reviews as well! http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.php?trim=no&cty=&cnty=United Kingdom&page=1&dfilter=5&topic=

No, I did read and send him that awhile ago but it was something specific to sending all the original proof included with the app.  Ah well.  I think I'll just send it anyway since I'd already planned to and he can just bring it back with him.  Maybe I'll skip my birth certificate though, since it's doesn't seem to be required.  I was a little sketched out about sending that in the mail. Ha.

It really doesn't sound like London ever wants to see anything extra but better to be over prepared!

Finally ! NOA2 in hand - I am still honestly shaking. Notice date is 7/28, post marked 7/31 and in my hand this morning. Quite literally takes forever for anything to get here. Still hasn't updated on the tracker, I updated my timeline. I am so hopeful that everyone else has theirs in the mail - this is such an awful process and I will be so happy when it is finally over.

Congratulations!!!

I think the graphics on Igor's list shows around a 65% of approved cases. So with that and 20 cases pending after RFE and some people that didn't update their profiles, not that bad really.

But I understand it won't look that way to the ones still waiting :(

Pretty close to what I had with Igor, I had 62.46% but @twoDs has some corrections built in with his program to discount some of the obvious flaws in the data.  I felt he would be close to actual number and probably actual case wide status.  When you sit on the dark side of that Iron Wall that separates the approved from the unapproved, it leaves you yearning for what you can't have.  Ironic today, as our interviewee mailed their petition one day after my petition, received it one day after my rcv date, noa1 one day after but yet the NOA2 was 23 June and ours is indeterminate.  Not a bit jealous, just using an example of 2 cases side by side.  It's an odd odd incomprehensible process that no statistic can actually predict.

One thing that I have learned is to prepare for and expect the unexpected.  We've all changed over the last 5 months, and odd how 5 months ago, I never would of dreamed that I would be researching the Administrative Procedures Act.  Wow, what an ambiguous piece of legislation and its' interpretation in and out of cases with like similarity.  While reading up on precedent cases, I also learned of CARRP, WOWWOW!, now that's something that is sure to be in the Supreme Court soon.  Anyways, statistically speaking, being in the pool with less and less fish, I suppose the chance of getting 'hooked' with an NOA2 is at least Greater for me, I mean - Heck!  63.1% of the pool is empty, so the remaining 36.9% of us......

SOOOOOO From a line in the movie Dumb and Dumber: "I Have A Chance!"
