Hey guys! I checked my Informed Delivery today and got a letter from USCIS. I'm so nervous. I see that the notice date is August 3rd. I called USCIS and spoke to a tier 2 officer and he said I didn't have any RFE or approvals on the way and they are processing January cases and all of that. The same day I contacted my senator when they didn't give me any information on my petition. They contacted me back August 3rd, the same day this letter is dated. Nothing says anything about an RFE on USCIS' website, so.... now I wait till the mail arrives. Excited and scared all in one go. :jest:

congratulations !!

Our NOA1 is 3/16 and still no NOA2, day 147 today. We are going to try and contact our Senator today as well. Sad that it has come to a stage where you need to contact a Senator to get things moving :(

Since you're close to the 150 days "deadline" maybe you should seek support, yes!

Fingers are crossed for you!

I just looked on mine and it looks the same! :)
I didn't see a RFE yet, but I think you're good! And... don't forget: Even if it would be a RFE - they're working on your case!

See... patience pays out! Save a little of it for later - the next wait is just around the corner! :)

Thank you, thank you, thank you. :D That's so relieving to hear. You're truly awesome. I'm feeling confident it's my NOA2! I would rather an RFE if it's not an NOA2. I'm just glad that I received something in the mail. So no matter what happens, I'm gonna stay positive. :) I'm so glad, now stuff can finally move forward and I can get my man here. I know how good this feeling is that all you guys describe. I can only imagine after I open the letter. I might have a heart attack. But a wonderful heart attack. :P

I think my senator might have been a big help after seeing others stories on here plus @KozmicBlues, honestly I really do believe it myself now! It's definitely worth a shot, you have nothing to lose and much more to gain. :) And thank you so very much, ill keep everyone posted on here once I find out for sure!

You'll be fine. Count about 2 weeks after NOA2 notice date to get a NVC number, another week for transfer, from then on I don't know for Australia.

My NO2 is from June 23rd, and my interview is tomorrow! It took a while, but the wait is easier, since you have "middle steps" in the waiting time :)

But still it's waiting and it sucks! :)

Honestly, I think your petition was done already.
You're far too far away from getting over the "regular processing time" (remember, we LOVE the three months approvals, should be happy about 4, but always expect 6) to even ask a senator. ACTUALLY. Plus I think their inquiries have more "weight" as more far you're past the max. processing time.

But... no matter what it was: You got mail, and good! :)

For the future: Plan more relaxed, don't stick to the "best case" time frames on here or anywhere (I know it's hard, since we all hope). That helps me a lot. I was expecting to move like October/November, and now it might be September. So I'm rather happy for something unexpectedly quick than bummed for something hoped quicker.

I hope that makes sense. Now wait for your letter and CELEBRATE! :)

I don't mind this next stage of the wait. NOA2 wait was so dreadful though! :)  I think it will probably be a month to two months, and if that is the case, I'm all pumped and ready for it! :D I know after I get full confirmation of the approval it will lift a big weight from my shoulders. It will only be a matter of time before he has his medical and interview as well. Seeing how fast it went for many people on here is great! But I learned a lot that this process is unpredictable. I think the worst part of the waiting is NOA2, then again interview would be as well! I wish you luck but I'm sure you don't need it as I know you'll get approved! I can't wait to hear back that you got your approval. I've been watching your entire process since you posted and it's crazy to see how all of us were and where were at now. I can only imagine how it feels to be  there (interview stage), but it definitely must feel like you're on top of the world. Best wishes!

Yeah, I didn't expect the interview until 3rd week of August. Earliest.
So I almost fell off my chair once I got the email last week, while I was still worried about the pack 3 maybe not being delivered to the embassy. So - surprise.

I'm a nervous wreck right now. Although I've checked my folder like 150 times, knowing I might not even need all the copies... It's awful.

I really wonder how that feels NOT to worry or panic anymore. Can't wait to experience that, haha!

We just got lucky I guess, and slipped through this whole thing - along with some other early birds - so I do hope everyone on here will finally get their NOA2 soon, so we can close this March Whiners Story with a lot of smiling faces! :)

At this point, I'm just glad and thankful to hear something as 131 days. I see so many on here waiting so long. How many days were you when you got your approval? Then again if I got my approval on the 3rd, that would be like 127 days roughly. But yeah, it's definitely a little bit of OCD lol. I was stalking Igor's list more than anything. The estimated time on my timeline seemed completely off and kept changing. But you're right. From what I gathered, many people are waiting as long as 6 months now. Honestly, at this point it feels like I'm on a cloud. Haha! I understand exactly what you're getting at. This process is not a walk in the park. Oh boy, was I wrong and I didn't know how it was gonna be, but I made it and it feels amazing. You have your interview tomorrow and you're gonna ace it. Finally, you'll be with your loved one at last! Let us all know how it goes!

Celebrating, yes!!! :) And then I can start compiling the rest of the documents. I got most of them. I only need the letter from employer and W2's. I have everything else that I got rougly early and late April. How soon should I send documents out to my fiancee?

I know completely what you mean! I'm nervous for my fiancee going to the interview. It has to be more nerve wracking for beneficiaries at the interview. I sympathize with you!
I think it's crazy how much paperwork you have to bring with you but then sometimes they don't look at all of it.
But, it's better to be over prepared in my opinion than completely under prepared, you know?
Haha, and tell me about it! Stress and anxiety is my best friend I tell ya. :D
But soon we'll be able to finally breathe and say thank god! Sure, we have to still deal with USCIS but at least we'll be doing it together with our loves!

I see you got your NOA2 at 93 days, so super lucky! But 127 days is lucky too. I hope to hear many NOA2 approvals today on here! Maybe I am just one of the many. It might be a jackpot of NOA2's today for both March and April! Nobody should have to wait 6 months even if it is normal processing time. Sucks the way it goes, but I'll be hoping for a quick and speedy NOA2 for the rest waiting. :) Seeing the happiness from others in this forum from getting approvals is amazing positive energy! It was like getting my own NOA2 in a way. Haha!

Haha!

Yeah it was 93 days; I was about to look. Really, really lightspeed! But 127 is still speedy, indeed! Compared to the poor people with 140+ days we got jackpot!

It is really, really awful. In Germany you're only asked to bring your appointment confirmation + passport, because you're submitting everything with Pack 3.
But nobody I know came with empty hands yet. We all have THE FOLDER. ;)
The only thing I will carry with me, that had NOT been sent in yet are screenshots from our weekly facetime, since we haven't seen uns since January, as well as the call logs since January, to proof the weekly facetime. I don't have more. And it's unlikely - at least it didn't happen to others - that they want to see more than the passport and the appointment confimation.  But you never know.

And I know after the interview - if it's a yes - I will start worrying until ceac says "issued", then I will worry for my passport to arrive at home.
After that I will worry for not loosing it lol
Then I will worry if they let me in at POE.... My fiance keeps making fun of me, but I told him HE has the easy part. He only has to file a few forms and WAIT. haha

Oh, btw, since you asked: Scott has express mailed me the i-134 + belonging documents, a copy of NOA2 and a new letter of intent (just in case) after we got the NVC number!
