Sorry I was mistaken I was thinking about the G325A. I just went back to check my 129f and I left all those boxes that didn't apply blank too. Welp... too late to fix anything now lol!

Hahahaha! I'll just print another i-129f, when my fiancé comes to the Philippines next month, I'll just send these papers to him so we can send it right away if ever.. Ghaaad. They should stick to the instructions 😂😂😂

Also, do we have to print the new i-129f form? The 13 pages? Do we have to fill it up and bring it with us to the Embassy? 😱

Hi Debbie,

While I'm a little neurotic, I've gathered 90% of the docs I'm suppose to have for the interview. I've filled out most of the DS-160 as well, so I'm just waiting for the NOA2 and until my fiance goes back to Cuba for him to do his part and get the other 10% done. I've also filled out most of the paperwork needed when we get married to submit his AOS... Things were really slow at work and then again I'm impatient lol

Got my NOA1 in the mail a few days after my text.. Hopefully since the NOA1 came quick, my NOA2 will come just as quick... Praying no more than 90 days! :D Just a couple more months to go! :jest::dance:

Thank you for this great idea @CubaAndChill

I agree with you @Andrew&Elizabeth about getting licensed in the US. I am a Registered Nurse here in the Philippines and I don't even know where to start. A lot of things goes through my mind (K1 visa, interview at the embassy, packing, taking IELTS exam, reviewing for licensure exam). It seems like everything is a priority! :dead: My fiancé and I have 18 hours time difference, 5299 miles apart.

I'm not sure if its the same for nurses, but I'd check about whether you need to get your educational credentials assessed by an organisation in the US. I had to prove to the licensing body that my education was equivalent before I became eligible to sign up for the national exam, and I'm fairly certain that the same applies for 'foreign educated' nurses. In the end I had to pick up a bunch of professional and undergraduate units online through US universities in order to reach the level they considered equivalent. Just a heads up!

No we don't need to do anything else regarding the I-129F form. The one we sent in is still valid for the timing that we sent in the petition and the only docs you need to submit to the Embassy is the evidence of support, medical, police reports and ongoing proof of relationship.

Yes.. I only saw in to the form g325a. Omg. The USCIS is confusing me! Someone got an RFE because they left it blank 😣😣

Oh god! maybe they left a spot blank that they should've filled out. We should be okay though since the instructions specifically said to leave it blank, worst case we get a RFE for something minor and at least know they have looked at our application and it will likely be approved after submitting the RFE

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered "Man.... Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."

Hello! Just wanna ask if anyone of you left the space blank at the form i-129F if the answer is N/A or None? Am I the only one who did that? 😂😭

Hi! We did the same for our I-129F, we left it blank as per the USCIS instructions. Then on our G-325 we put "none". After seeing your post, I went to USCIS website and checked their I-129F Instruction Form just to make sure. Then I checked to my F if we left the space blank or put None, he said we left it blank because like @KozmicBlues he remembered that it was the USCIS instruction at that time. While reading on the USCIS website I saw this in the "Edition Date":

"04/10/17. Starting 06/09/2017, we will only accept the 04/10/17 edition. Until then, you can use the 12/23/16 edition. You can find the edition date at the bottom of the page on the form and instructions."

I think they revise/update their instruction form from time to time or it just depends on the officer reviewing the file. Let's just hope for the best and not get an RFE :)

I believe we have to get our credentials assessed too. I've been reading about the requirements and the process and boy there are times that I get confused and overwhelmed from the fact that a lot work has to be done. Baby steps but a little bit faster than baby steps lol

Hello. March Filers. Asking for a friend.. Have you heard an RFE , because the Petitioner signed the Benefeciaries G-325a?? She was like going crazy now and like expecting for an RFe already because of this.. 😐

Hi Maria. She may get an RFE. We're supposed to send in 2 G-325A one for the petitioner and one for the beneficiary with the corresponding signatures. I don't believe the petitioner can sign the beneficiary's G-325A form.

She should have received via snail mail from her fiancé all signed and dated by her fiancé:

  • Letter of intent to marry
  • G-325a
  • Passport style photo (also signed and dated and taken within 30 days of USCIS receiving)

They like to see the actual wet signature of the fiancé.
To be safe, I had my fiance make 4 of everything and send me 3 in case there was any kind of issue along the way. And i had him sign everything with a blue pen since that is what I had seen on a youtube video that was done by a lawyer.

Thank you so much! Now I feel relieved. Just by looking at the new form makes me feel dizzy😅 And it's very lengthy 😂😂

They clearly said it's because they didn't put an N/A :((  I hope they just meant it was the form g325a
