Yeah.. btw, how did you fill up the form i-129f? The instructions says to leave it blank if your answer is N/A or NONE, right? I read the instructions carefully, so I did what they instructed and left those questions blank if it's N/A or NONE.. But getting worried because they made another version of i-129F and it's completely different from the form we filled up. It's now 13 pages and they have instructions to just write N/A if Not applicable or NOne if it's not.. so here's the thing that makes me worried, I'm worried that we might get an RFE because they might think we should have just put N/A or NONE on it even if the one I used was the 2016 form.. there was a december filer who recently got an RFE because they left it blank. Too late for me because we submitted the packet already.. ghaaad. I'm so worried. :((

I believe my fiance put NONE but we printed ours out in March and were following the directions. Lucky for us he was visiting me end of February for 6 days to meet my family here so we finished filling in all the papers so that I could sign them and he then prepared the rest when he got home and sent it off. RFE's don't seem to slow things down too much and don't seem too bad from what I have seen. No reason to stress about it now if you don't know. HUGS

Thanks guys! I don't feel so bad for appreciating my own space LOL.

I guess my fiance and I are one of the lucky ones, we only have a 2 hour time difference but it's like over 1000 miles which really isn't too bad.

One of the airlines here has one way flights to Cuba so the flight is about 2.5 hours, it's coming back that's tricky. Usually I'll have to stop in Ft. Lauderdale and that's a full day of airports. I went in February and my flight left Havana at 2 pm and I didn't get to Houston until 9pm. We didn't really have an emotional goodbye since he was leaving for his work-study to Argentina and I was leaving through another airport, but as soon as I sat down in my seat on the plane I started bawling. I truly didn't want to leave and came back to Houston with a bad attitude LOL! My poor mom picked me up from the airport all excited and here I was with crying/mad face.

I won't get to see him again until I go for the interview, but we talk every day when he's not extremely busy with work & I talk to his family a lot too. I can't wait to go back though, hopefully I'll be able to go for a month when I go for the interview. That way if everything goes smoothly (prayers going up) then we can come back together on the same flight.

Chin up, KozmicBlues. Time will fly! :)
And you have all of us here to pull you up! :)
Can't you go visit him like on half time?

I haven't seen my fiance since I departed on January 2nd. And I will most likely not see him until I come home for good. Long time. But we're doing surprisingly good with this (we're weirdos), and we made it through 8 months of being apart last year.
Some days I hate waiting, some days I don't mind because I'm busy...and used to the LDR.

Thanks, trying to keep my chin up as best as possible! Visiting isn't really an option right now because I've already done the trip recently twice (Oct'16 and Jan'17). It takes about 2-3 days of travel alone just to get to him (Phoenix, AZ - Delhi, India) which means I need minimum 2 weeks off work to make it worth travelling that far and there's no way I can get that time off from work right now. Plus we have a plan for me to go there once his visa gets approved (fingers crossed!) that way we can have a traditional Indian engagement party and then travel back together.

I think it's just harder than normal these days cos' his birthday is coming up on Monday and we originally wanted him to come out and visit for his bday, but it didn't work out since it was highly unlikely he would be able to get a tourist visa approved. It's all good though, the only choice we have is to wait so I know we will all get through it! :)

Thanks @CubaAndChill and @AkesAngel for trying to get the March scans sorted!

Just curious - anyone else in our little group here working in the health care field or having professional licensing issues once they finally make it to the US? I'm an Australian Physiotherapist and the process for getting licensed in America is pretty intense!

Also, just for fun I was wondering if anyone could beat the distance between me and my fiancee. We're living 12 hour time difference and 11,136 miles apart. :P

I agree with you @Andrew&Elizabeth about getting licensed in the US. I am a Registered Nurse here in the Philippines and I don't even know where to start. A lot of things goes through my mind (K1 visa, interview at the embassy, packing, taking IELTS exam, reviewing for licensure exam). It seems like everything is a priority! :dead: My fiancé and I have 18 hours time difference, 5299 miles apart.

I don't think that's weird either :)
Him and I are both used to live alone; when he was here we had a weekend-relationship as well. And since we text a lot and have our Sundayish facetime date, we don't get to miss each other too much.
I'm good with this, it's certain moments when I wish to be there badly. But in daily life we're both good.. he's working 12 hours a day, I have a busy schedule.

It sounds so unromantic, haha! :)

Btw I just calculated: It's day 100 since I hugged him good bye, and we just talked about visits last night and kind of decided to save his leave days (and money) for when I arrive.
So the wait will be much longer. But I'm busy.... yet! :)

My Fiancee want me to save the money because the ticket is outrageously high in the summer but i want to see her

Hello! Just wanna ask if anyone of you left the space blank at the form i-129F if the answer is N/A or None? Am I the only one who did that? 😂😭

Hi! I left the spaces blank if it was n/a or none per the I-129f instructions. I remember it specifically saying to leave blank if answer is n/a. Only exception was in any place where it specifically said if none then state none, but I think that may have only been on the G-form...can't remember exactly. Sounds like you will be fine and did it correctly though. :)

I guess it depends on the person reviewing the information and the forms. I truly don't think it'll be a problem. I left some boxes blank on the I-129F that didn't apply unless it stated in the sentence above the section to put None if it didn't apply. I'm sure we'll be fine and get our NOA2 within the next few months.... couple of months... NEXT MONTH!!

I think the none wording was around the former spouse part.. I can't remember, but all in all I think we'll be fine.

I just hope they get through those Nov & Dec cases. I feel for those people so much having to wait for so long and hoping we don't have to wait that long. My time estimate keeps going from June 23-29 to June 23-july 1. So we'll see what happens.

Sorry I was mistaken I was thinking about the G325A. I just went back to check my 129f and I left all those boxes that didn't apply blank too. Welp... too late to fix anything now lol!
