I'm assuming you were included in the new electronic system. I remember when they started processing cases that way, people got that email talking about an expedite none of them had requested. So don't worry, just part of the new processing system. You can now do things step by step knowing everything is ok for you to proceed :)

Okay, that would make about 100% more sense. My case was electronic (I was told this by the NVC), and I had to use the "everything through CEAC" line because of it. They should really re-think their wording lol, save our poor souls some freaking out.

I've been watching AZ notices carefully, and it seems to be 2-5 days. I think the longer timeline is when USCIS doesn't mail the notice themselves for a few days. Doesn't take long to go from CA to AZ.

I think KosmicBlues posted when she got the actual paper in the mail after being informed by the senator's office, so searching for that message would give you really fresh times.

Thanks so much @twoDs  I'll check her post.  I actually wrote a long letter via contact form via to one of the senators yesterday, so I'm going to feel a little silly if it shows before they even get back to me, but I'm getting the impression going that route and not directly calling and talking to a human wouldn't do much for me anyway.   I really hope you'll see an approval or action from the senators' office soon.

I'm just hoping I get a call back today. If not I'll keep trying. Based on my experience of failure and KosmicBlue's success, I think you 1) have to call and 2) have to speak directly with the immigration specialist when you call. So far every avenue outside of that seems to have failed. I hope the contact form works for you!

I just haven't felt like I have enough of a case to plead over the phone as I'm at the verrrry end of the month and can't even claim they're well into processing April or anything like that.  You're there though, with many cases processed after you, and I hope you keep trying to knock those doors down!  I approached my letter more as a complaint about the inefficiency and unfairness and of course worked in a request to check on the status of my case ;)

And BTW, it looks like Kozmic got her approval on 7/25 and the letter on 7/28.

I know all of you are contacting senators and hoping for something. I just think its not going to work. My fiance doesn't have time to contact a senator. He works during their hours all the time so we won't even go that route. To those thinking of giving up and going to their spouses country, good luck if you decide that. Chris and I entertained that thought but because of his good job and the fact I have way more job skills than he does even though I am younger, we decided me going down there was the best choice. Plus it can take a year at the least to get approved for a spouse visa to Canada usually 2 years. This looked like the faster option. HA LOOKED LIKE sigh. I know it will happen some day but right now we are not even bothering checking the mail anymore. He is going back to checking it once a week because why bother when we know its unlikely we will receive an NOA2 until Maybe October at this rate. Knowing that I will not be there for his 50th birthday in October is hurting but that's life. Knowing I might not be there til next year well that's life too. Every day is a day closer and I am holding onto that fact. I love my fiance Chris so very much and we know we were meant to be. I knew the first time I walked into the hotel lobby in Rapid City, SD, last December, and saw him after driving 8.5 hours and him 7.5 hours, that he was my soulmate. I had never really dated before cept a bit in college years ago and some online. I felt so inexperienced at the age of 38 at the time but it was as if we had known each other forever. I wasn't nervous or scared to meet him in person. It just felt right. :) HA my Mum was more nervous than I. She was like make sure you have your own hotel room etc etc etc. I think I told her that if he turned out to be a killer that it was my time to go. LOL

Not even a lunch break ? 🤔

I have found that American culture is very much a workaholic culture. Live to work, instead of work to live (except for USCIS 🤣 ). What is it like only 10 vacation days a year normally ? We get standard 25 days over on this side of the pond. We try to do as little as possible, if we can. Preferably in the pub around lunch time, maybe we'll make it back to the office that day, maybe not 😂 haha

I am worried it's gonna be a culture shock to me. 😬

Yeah, my fiancee gets like 30 days off paid or something crazy like that. I have a bunch of paid holidays, but not really any paid vacation. Just have to save money to cover both the cost of vacation and the missed time at work. My boss is pretty flexible with time off as long as there is advance notice.
