Yes, there's a database of VJ timeline participants. If you go to "immigration timelines" above, there's a link "search timelines" and that will take you to it. If you see the data in Igor's list, or the stuff I do on % NOA2 by day, it comes from that database.

 

The app actually uses the USCIS website as well, it's just a fancy front end to it. It also shares your data with the app developers the same way VJ data here is shared, so other members will see activity.

You contact your US Senator that works in Washington D.C. as this immigration process is a federal and not a state program.

If you are missing a form or document then your case gets set aside until you return the requested documents/forms. Once they are received they get filed with your case. But if something is missing that you're not responsible for, like a background check, It's not going to get processed until such time as your entire file is complete. This includes behind the scenes process that you don't see. So while your file sits, someone else that came behind you had no documents missing and she is from a country that is not suspect, their case can leapfrog yours till all your documents are adjudicated. So when you see they are getting their NOA2 before you and they submitted after you that is what is usually is taking place.  It's just they way it is.

 

So, a document, a letter of intent, is missing or a background check is not complete that may be the item(s) that are holding up things.  This whole immigration process is a hurry up and wait, and then wait some more and maybe wait some more.  As a veteran of many processes that you have yet to tackle, I suggest that you sit back and work the system using the timelines that UCIS posts.  Once your case goes beyond that advertised timeline then it's time to call in the Big Dogs.

 

Last year, after waiting for my wife's 10 year GC (permanent residency-filed through Vermont) we waited one year and 4 months for her approval. My stepson was 1.5 and my step daughter was 1.7.  All the while those who were lucky enough to file through California was adjudicated within 6 months which is normal processing time. So, no one can tell you when you will be processed and anything that is told to you typically does not pan out to be the timetable that you actually received.

 

The best I can tell you is that you have to have a lot of patience because every step of the way through AOS, Perm Residence and Naturalization is going to drive you nuts. It does not get better. I'm just saying.

Wouldn't that be your council member ? This is totally one of those moments that taxation without representation comes into play.

Hello everyone my fiancee called and she was giving our  case number from NVC today and when i tracked it, it says last updated 31/7 and case READY FOR INTERVIEW. My fiancee has not received our latter from the NVC. Will she still receive the hard copy from NVC ? She hasn't received any email yet from the embassy. Please what should i do next.

There's quite a major difference between watching an emotional breakdown over Skype and watching one happen on my couch. I'd rather wait for documents sitting on a desk going on a road trip together or trying new recipes. I don't know about other couples, but my fiance and I want to be together and get married. That's the primary concern. The road to citizenship isn't a major priority or rush. While I appreciate the warning, everyone knows that storms are best weathered together. I have two aunts and uncles that have gone through this process and they've said as much.

That's kinda tricky because Washington D.C. does not have senators and only one non-voting representative that acts in the same capacity as delegates from Puerto Rico and Guam. Washington D.C. is a city not belonging to any state. It's a very odd case, and I don't know what to do in your situation. Maybe try your rep. Here's her site: https://norton.house.gov/

Hello everyone! :)) Urgh! Finally! I'm done with my medical! Total of 3 days! 🤣 So here's what happened to me. :)) A very looong story! Sorry for my wrong grammars, too😂😂 it's a detailed story of my medical experience at St. Luke's medical extension clinic 😊

 

1st day(July 24,2017)

I was very early! I got there around 12 midnight. Literally, there was no applicant yet except for me. So we decided to grab something to eat to nearest fast food chain! We went back around 1AM, and there's already 3 applicants in there, I'm the 4th. So we had to wait until they let us in. They allowed us to come in around 4:30AM :)) when they let us in, we had to wait another one hour before they start calling for biometrics. After biometrics, they told us to go to the 5th floor to pay for the medical fee.. the elevator is very busy during morning! So Inhad to take their advice to just use the stairs! 😂 Very helpful for me😂. I bought an exact amount of it, 16,042.50 in Philippine peso😂  The lady in the counter told me to proceed to 3rd floor, which is Xray.. I was feeling nervous that time, i kept praying to God to guide me. During the xray, they had to repeat mine because I couldn't relax my shoulders. I was really nervous.. Then I took a veeeery deep inhaaaale! Hahahaha! And tadaaa! I got it right!

After xray, they told me to proceed to 4th floor for the urinalysis and blood test. :)) I had a hard time doing this. The medtech couldn't find my pulse😂 Then I had a hard time trying to reach the needed amount for urinalysis. Caused me a delays

Then after that, I went to 2nd floor for immunization interview. :)) There, I filled up a small form, declared that I have a history of PTB.. Then interviewed by a dr.. After that, I went upstairs to 5th floor for the vital signs, height weight, eye test and then for physical examination. on the physical examination, that's where I really cried a lot😂 For a very unexpected thing. The doctor told me that I have to go through psychiatric evaluation since I have a scar on my wrist, obviously it was a sign of suicide.. then I couldn't hear her enough because she sounded like she was just whispering, plus she has a face mask on -___- reason why she requested a medical certificate from a doctor to examine my hearing impairment 😂  so after that,she told me to go to 3rd floor and bring my papers there..

When I get there, the lady at the check out counter told me to go back at 2PM.. I was already crying because I thought I have everything on my shoulders. I was worried about my xray because I was expecting to be under sputum since I have history of PTB.. When I went back to the hotel, i just cried. i couldn't eat and i felt so stressed.. So i was just like that, it caused my eyes to look very swollen 😂 

So I went back to the clinic before 2PM, the lady at the 3rd floor check out counter gave me instructions to go to the ground floor, Room N, and gave the papers because she told me it's for psychiatric evaluation. So before I left, I had to ask her if my xray went well, if I am under sputum or not, she told me it was okay and I'm not going to be under sputum! I had to repeat again because I couldn't believe it at all! She told me she wouldn't tell me to go ahead to the psychiatric evaluation if there's a problem with my xray😂 i still couldn't believe it! I was so happy and at the same time worried about everything but I thanked God for the very good news! So I went to the Room N, and the nurse told me to fill up a form. :)) she told me to go back on July 31, 2017, for my psychiatric evaluation. She noticed my swollen eyes, she asked why I cried.. Then I told her the reason why, she told me not to worry because everything is fine. :)) I had to ask her the same questions I asked to the one in the check out counter 😂 She said the same thing! But the whole week, It still doesn't sinked it to me! i still couldn't believe it.. 

i went back to the hotel, took a nap, then went back to my hometown around 12midnight again and got home around 5AM. 😊 No traffic!

 

2nd day of Medical July 31,2017

 

So I arrived at the clinic around 11AM, my schedule is 1PM. I'm so early! :)) I went to the Room N again, they gave me instructions on what to do, they told me to pay for the psychiatric evaluation in the 5th floor, that costs additional payment of 1,058 pesos.. I gave my receipt to the guard, so she can call me when it's time for me to go to my psychiatric evaluation. We just waited for the doctor until 1:30PM. I was first in the line! My name was called first and then I went up to the 6th floor because it's where his office at. :)) so during the interview, he just asked me about my work, my family, asked me why I was the only daughter, then if I'm married, he couldn't see any problem why I need to hurt myself 😂 but still he continued to talk to me, he asked me how many scars do I have on my wrist, I told him 4.. asked if it bled a lot, I said yes.. then he advised me what to tell during my interview about my scar.. then I thought we're already done but he continued to ask me about me and my fiance if when and how did we met, I told him through Facebook and on May 2013, he asked when did the relationship started, I said October 2013. and if how many times he visited me.. i said twice . Then there, I'm done! :)) he said no problem on my evaluation.. He told me to go back to the ground floor for further instructions.

 

So when I get there, they took the medical certificate from the doctor about my hearing impairment, then I offered them to take my medical certificate about my PTB. :)) They told me to go back after two days(Aug 2,2017) 

 

August 2,2017

 

I got there around 6:30 in the morning. I can come earlier than that but I chose not to. 😊 So the guard put a stamp on my receipt, for IMMUNIZATION! :)) He told me to go to 2nd floor.. I passed my receipt at the counter and they told me to wait for my name to be called. At 7AM they started to call names already.. I waited until 8am until they called my name, they told me to go to the Doctor's room.. So I went there, the doctor asked me if I have a history of PTB, I said yes and I declared it.. She told me that my record is not yet updated. She was requesting for a copy of my medical certificate, but I told her I gave it to the one in Room N last monday. She then asked for 5 copies which I also prepared. :)) I was starting to get nervous already. She told me to go to 5th floor so that the Dr can update my record. She told me to bring my medical certificate. -___- so I went there, waited another 30 minutes to be called, the dr just inserted my record at their system then she told me to go back to the 2nd floor. And then, when I get there, the dr who checked my docs isn't there anymore so the other dr said she will just check it by herself. So I waited until 9:30 again, they said go to IMMUNIZATION ROOM! I was feeling happy that time already, when I get there, when it was my turn, they told me to scan my finger so I did, when I did it says NO RECORD FOUND! I felt so disappointed already that time and was panicking. So the nurse searched my PDS number, and it says that the immunization dr hasn't reviewed my docs yet. So there, i felt like crying already. But the nurse assured me that it's just a quick review. So she told me to wait again in the waitinh area hahahaha so again! I waited another one hour 😂 Then they told me to go inside the immunization room again. So this time I told myself not to get too excited 😂😂 I asked the nurses if it's really done she said said. after a few questions, I finally have my 4 VACCINATION SHOOOTS! Yeeeyy!! :))  she told me to proceed to the ground floor for releasing 😊 At 10:40 I was already there waiting 😂They took my passpa nd had to wait until 12:50 until they called my name.. Urgh! 😂 They didn't give me the brown envelope since I had a personal evaluation.. If it's the instructions, they said the clinic will be the one to forward it to the embassy. 😊😊 Yeeey! So after I signed some papers, I finally went back to the hotel to check out and go home! ❤️

 

Praise God! All these time, I only thought I would be under sputum because I have a history of PTB.. But even if I expected it already, I still prayed so much that hopefully it will turn out good and my xray will show up CLEAR! ❤️I claimed it and God granted my prayers! ❤️ Finally! ❤️ God is good all the time! :))

It must be horrible to have a job where you have to lie to literally everyone who inquires about their case. I know I would hate it. For one, I value integrity.
