@pajobra: Have you looked into animal transporters? I've had a nice conversation with a company called "Almost Home Pet Transportation" on Facebook. Ended up giving my Guineas a new home, but they've been my pick in case they'd have to fly. Maybe they do Canada as well and can give you a quote?


Oh, and the 3rd annoying wait time is over: my pack 3 letter from the embassy arrived today! Woot! Happy! :)
I'll mail out the required documents on Monday and then go back to waiting mode.
Germans don't like waiting... I guess I'll have to get used to it ^^

Guys, great news! Our lawyer's office just emailed me that we've been approved, i'm so happy i could cry right now! Literally so excited I'm shaking at my desk here at work!! Our case was from 03-24-2017!! Not sure the date of the approval on the notice but will post more details when I'm home! OMG!!! :):):) Haven't felt this happy in AGES!!! YES! Good luck to all my fellow march whiners still waiting!!!

I hope things get better, I know the US embassy issued a family evacuation order a day or two ago, but at least it's open!

Given the situation I'm sure they'd understand someone wanting to expedite. Heck, they might want you to expedite too!

All the 129F applications on the case tracker for 3/13 appear to start at WAC1790246073 and go through WAC1790246115, and there have been no

recent updates to the status on those, and indeed the only updates at all are a few scattered responses to RFEs sent a month ago, though there's one

case that got labeled approved back then as well. There are five outstanding cases on VJ for that date, ours, pajobra's, and slwomack1 are all actively

posting here, one looks like an abandoned account and the other doesn't have a published timeline.

also received date 3/13 here 

 

EDIT: Sorry, 3/13 received, NOA1 on 3/16.

Sad situation there, for years now.  Estimated 20 to 30k Venezuelan refugees here in So Flo alone.

 

Dirty side of a Typhoon has been battering the Philippine Islands for last few days and the storm is headed N NW and will be over Taiwan tomorrow afternoon and China on Sunday.

 

probably another thing unique to K1 people, our awareness of the world, not just our hometown......

Yep we spoke with our lawyer about this already. Nothing we can do. Apparently if that embassy were to close, he'd have to go to the next closest embassy. Let's just all send good vibes that it doesn't happen!!
