One thing I've noticed in the data, not that it throws it off a lot, but additional cases with NOA1 start appearing as NOA2s get issued by new members signing up to get NOA2 news.

I saw the % approved on one day go backwards when I was working on it and realized it was a new member after digging into the detail. It'll be interesting to see what the highest % approved ends up being for "big" days due to abandoned updates, etc. 3/7 is at 83% with 15 out of 18 approved, that's impressively good given that many cases.

Something about 3/7 date.  It really was a good 'tile' in their domino game.  I've seen them play that date for the last 7 weeks

On the last day of the week, and with waining results posted here - I got to thinking of a Top 10 list.

Reply with your top 10 :)

You might be a K1 filer if:

10  Quarterly you have to dump the Whatsapp messages into email and there are over 10,000 of them.

9   You have greater than 100 hours in the air in the last 6 months

8   The words 'Hang In There' make you want to choke someone

7  Your timeline moved right, then incrementally again, and eventually stopped and is now in the past

6  This thread used to be active, now it is ***crickets, crickets*** and you feel left behind

5  You wake up in the middle of the night thinking K1

4  You check an app that you know is broken, but you check and re check it anyway

3  Every email comes in on your phone - when you hear the alert, you think USCIS

2  The old term Mexican Standoff has new meaning and you envision yourself staring down USCIS to see who blinks first

1  You have waited so long for NOA2, that VJ emails you that your timeline needs updated  ARE YOU KIDDING ME???!!!  OF COURSE IT NEEDS UPDATING, EMAIL USCIS AND TELL THEM, NOT ME!!!!

In no particular order. I also can't count:

Your fiancee asks you to stop discussing VJ, NOA2s, and possibly the marriage because of the stress.

You have your first serious "plan B" discussion if you can't get married.

You update your estimate of the arrival date of your fiancee if the NOA2 came today... every day.

The USCIS app won't let you scan cases anymore that day, so you go to your PC and enter case numbers manually on the USCIS website. For every case of your NOA1 date. Several times per day.

You click on VJ's "show reply" messages like a crack-addicted monkey.

You click on USPS informed delivery emails like a crack-addicted monkey, too.

Your friends hear about the "informed delivery" service the post office offers for the first time ever from you.

You don't trust informed delivery and check your mailbox every single day, even when it involves driving to it.

You send links to your fiancee of any reported NOA2 that could be remotely interpreted to be near yours, be it the same country or nearby NOA1 date.

Your fiancee emails back "I hate them" if the NOA1 date is more than two weeks after yours.

You have daydreams about sneaking into CSC to rescue your case file from an warehouse straight out of Indiana Jones.

Thanks guys I needed this laugh. :D Oh those are gooders!! I will have to read them to my fiance Chris tonight as he will get a kick out of them too. :)

BTW laughing at work in the middle of the library garners some strange looks. Apparently we are supposed to be quiet in the library. Seems I the Assistant Administrator forgot that rule. :D

LOL

Good!!!

The one I forgot to put on my list and it's by far the craziest.... One day I actually thought about hiring a banner flying plane to buzz CSC day after day.  Probably woulda done it, but couldn't figure out how to identify myself/

Yeah, this process is making me crazy     (er)

I was fantasizing about putting flyers begging for approval with a list of WAC numbers on all the cars of the CSC parking lot. More than one number = plausible deniability, plus it's a win for those guys as well.

@GazLisa: I can't wait for your dance in the streets once you're coming out of the interview! :)
@pajobra: Have you looked into animal transporters? I've had a nice conversation with a company called "Almost Home Pet Transportation" on Facebook. Ended up giving my Guineas a new home, but they've been my pick in case they'd have to fly. Maybe they do Canada as well and can give you a quote?

Oh, and the 3rd annoying wait time is over: my pack 3 letter from the embassy arrived today! Woot! Happy! :)
I'll mail out the required documents on Monday and then go back to waiting mode.
Germans don't like waiting... I guess I'll have to get used to it ^^

I think flying with her in Cabin should be ok. I called Delta from work today and they confirmed that the flight I am looking at does take pets in the cabin and what dimensions of a carrier I need and what they thought was the best kind. My Mum has offered to pay for me and Pixie's one way flight down to Denver as a Christmas present to me. She said that I might as well go for the non-stop flight even though its more expensive so that Pixie has less stress. Once I get my NOA2 and finally am able to book the interview and medical, I am going to do the no no and book a flight for a few weeks after because we all know the farther from the date the cheaper the flight. lol

Hahhahaha, so true! And HOW MUCH I checked all day long! :D

I can add:

- Your friends are learning all the common acronyms involved in a visa process, although they'll never emigrate to the US.
- You don't need to read off your WAC/NVC/Embassynumber... you KNOW it!
- You're starting to hope NVC call center has more than 20 different employees on the phone, because they might recognize you again on one of your gazillons of desperate calls
- Doublechecking outgoing documents isn't enough - you twentyple check them and still sweat blood
- The question "When will/when are...?" is always answered with "I dooooon't know!"

And soooo on :)

I knew you would have a great list!!!

I love  "I Doooooon't Knoooow!!!"   HAHAHA

Yes most definitely and while my fiance works late tonight I will pass the time by going through my ####### for the 3rd time and try to make it even more manageable. I only have six boxes right now and probably 1 suitcase worth of clothing. I am thinking of sending my summer clothes to my fiance in a box though in September because clothes are lighter and well I won't need them til next year. :) Oh and one dufflebag that has my roller derby gear in it and my derby skates. Yes I used to play roller derby. Had to quit when I moved down with my mum as I was too far from a team. Now I just skate recreationally. lol

I wasn't even done yet. That's my thing, you got me! lol
I was just thinking I should wake my blogpage from it's eternal sleep and turn it into one of the thousand "German goes to America" blogs and report about our collective suffer! :)

I was also thinking of making a blog to track this process as well as my process as I lose weight and how I am doing there etc. I figure if no one reads it but me oh well. It would make me feel better I think writing it down. lol
