Hi March Whiners!

so contacting my local senator and the senator in dc didn't work. I figured, let me try to contact California Service Center through an email..  it wouldn't hurt even though they said they will only reply based on the requirements, i still did it anyway.

When i emailed them, i sounded professional and not whining about how long I have been waiting. Emailed last July 19, got a response this morning.

***Thank you for your inquiry. According to our records, your petition is assigned to an officer and under review. While we are unable to give you a specific date by which a decision will be rendered in your case, you can expect to receive a Notice of Action* soon.

Just happy that it is under review now.

Thank God!

A little more patience.

if anyone is wondering which email address i sent an inquiry.. it is for CSC

That's a standard form response.

In the link above, they got their NOA2 about 3 weeks later.

Standard form or not, it is still something. Which means only a few more weeks give or take. The important thing is it's not just sitting there in a box somewhere. At the least it is being reviewed. That is still something to be happy about 🙂.

Not going to lie, it's so exciting seeing everyone get approved but I'm feeling a little forgotten😔 Just need to have more patience and then some more patience 😪 Sighhhhh

The vast majority of RFEs turn into NOA2s in a short amount of time, so hang in there! You're right at the point most NOA2s get issued after a RFE (for recent ones, it's 14-17 days.)

There's a 7/11 RFE response with a 7/20 NOA2, and a 7/6 RFE response with a 7/18 NOA2. I doubt you have long to wait. You're literally the next RFE in the database after that 7/20 NOA2.

Ditto, November unless I can make it earlier.   But without that golden ticket, who knows?

Hope the rest is smooth for you.

Thanks. I hope yours will go smooth as well. Don't worry, your noa2 will be there before you know it! If my fiance gets her visa way before november, thatll be great. That way, she'll be before winter starts

I am also beginning to think our box has been pushed aside. :( Hopefully they notice soon. Although in my case I guess it does not matter anymore as I am not sure how I am going to get to the states. I can not leave my kitty behind. :( Possibly I will take my Mum's car and drive all the way to Colorado Springs with my stuff and cat. 16 hour drive with no stops so it will be a two day trip and then bring her car back up to Devils Lake, ND and my sister drives her down to Devils Lake so she can pick up her car and I then get on an airplane at Devils Lake and fly to Denver.  So complicated as our original plan of him coming up here to get me is not going to work out. I wish I could take my car down but its not mine its my sisters and she can't give it to me unless its safetied and unfortunately it won't pass the safety without some work. My mechanic says about 1000 dollars worth. The car is only worth 2k soooo yeah. I am just a tad stressed. My fiance said it will work out darling. Least he has confidence. LOL

Aw I'm sorry dear! Don't worry, he's right and it will all work out. I have no idea, but is renting a car one-way an option? I imagine if it's even permissible it would probably be super expensive but just wondering.

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered "Man.... Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."

Wooooooow!!
Just as I hoped it was raining NOA2's yesterday! :D

@KozmicBlues @Michael Zamot @Knifeboxx @Ana&Matt @theredcomet @KrisKi8 @edzel

CONGRATULATIONS TO YOUR APPROVALS!!! :D:D:D

Also @Patricia & Ola: Congrats to your interview date! It must be so relieving to know a date finally! :D

So maybe the wall of nothing is breaking and USCIS got back from vacation! :D

Good luck for today - may it rain more NOA2's for all of you!
Off to the next step of waiting! :D

Oh, and just for the record: I have just checked the casetracker for fun: Our NOA2 is from June 23rd, and it still says "received". So I wouldn't rely on that too much! :)

Have a great day everyone! :)

Well, you can't expect them to update all the cases approved before yesterday in the tracker retroactively. It sure seems it was working for yesterday, with over 250 cases reported as approved for 27-29 March, as someone posted on April's thread. So now we just have to wait and see what happens today, and if the tracker keeps showing Approvals then it might be fixed :o

Have a great day you too. Hope you heard from the Embassy soon.

Yeah, you're right!
Maybe it's some miracle working tracker day like June 21st. I remember updating in heavy rotation, but it wouldn't work for other days!
Hopefully this time it's better! :)

Thank you! I hope so, too.
Case is "ready" since Tuesday last week, and other Germans said it took about 10 days to get the pack 3.
I wouldn't mind, since I wouldn't want to travel before September, but I'm scared of the remaining interview slots for August.

Just FYI there was another 7/25 NOA2 that showed up in the database (and they posted on VJ as well a couple hours ago) involving a February filer.

This is the second reported 7/25 NOA2.

where did you saw that? :)
