This generally seems to be true -- there's a number of March filers with visas that have confirmed they're still "Case Received" but today we've had a bunch of reports of people getting notified electronically and the case status being updated. This is the first time in a month or so that's happened.

yes...I thought it was very strange to see a "Case was Approved" notice.  It's actually the only one I've ever seen.  Sure looks exciting to see thou.  ahahahaha

Ran a scan today +/- 100 cases of my own and was pleased to see some RFEs both before and after my case whereas yesterday there was nothing. Looks like they hit the March 28 receipt date pile today.

Where do you go to run a scan?

I use "USCIS Case" app they let you run 100 files at a time 3 times a day.   So I will run my case number last 3 being "304"  then I'll run with the last 3 of "204" and last 3 digits of 404 so that way I have a range of 300 cases a day. Now if you use "USCIS App"  app, then you can only run 50 cases 3 times a day.

I am also beginning to think our box has been pushed aside. :( Hopefully they notice soon. Although in my case I guess it does not matter anymore as I am not sure how I am going to get to the states. I can not leave my kitty behind. :( Possibly I will take my Mum's car and drive all the way to Colorado Springs with my stuff and cat. 16 hour drive with no stops so it will be a two day trip and then bring her car back up to Devils Lake, ND and my sister drives her down to Devils Lake so she can pick up her car and I then get on an airplane at Devils Lake and fly to Denver.  So complicated as our original plan of him coming up here to get me is not going to work out. I wish I could take my car down but its not mine its my sisters and she can't give it to me unless its safetied and unfortunately it won't pass the safety without some work. My mechanic says about 1000 dollars worth. The car is only worth 2k soooo yeah. I am just a tad stressed. My fiance said it will work out darling. Least he has confidence. LOL

Pets really complicate the travel plans, we're dealing with the same thing since her animals aren't allowed in the cabin. The added twist is they don't allow pet travel to Phoenix until after 10/31 due to the heat, but that's probably not going to be an issue. I'm seriously wondering if we'll even make it this year, given the combined average times on NOA2 to get to Montreal along Montreal's average processing time being over two months in itself, we're already looking at December if the NOA2 came today.

I'm sure you fiance is right and it'll all sort itself out.

Thats exactly it. :( I might be right and I will have to wait til Spring. I can't do this I am already breaking down. I just want to be with him. I wish I wasn't so attached to my cat but I have had her for 12 years.

Does anyone know how required those bank letters are for the I-134? I asked for them 3 months ago and I still haven't received them. And every time I call or go in to try and figure it out, I get the run around.

From my various readings it sounds like if you have income (and proof of income) above the minimum requirements it's not absolutely needed, but in the end it's up the the individual embassy to require them or not. There's quite a few older VJ threads on the issue and it sounds like most people get away with not having them if it's a problem. Here's an example:

That's what I was reading as well. I'm using my dad as a co-sponsor since I'm a new graduate student and don't meet the 125%. But his income is way over the poverty limit, so it doesn't look like it should matter. I have 3 years tax transcripts, his last W2, and a letter from his employer. I'm going to get his last 2 paychecks, but I think that's all I'll need. I guess the worst that happens is they ask for it at the interview and I have to mail Nick more stuff.
