What tracking app do you use?

2 minutes ago, AnJ Co said:

My case tracker app went off today at 1645.  I have it set pretty tight, to the 6 cases that I believe my case is boxed up with.  RFE went out to one of those cases today.  Mine remains as 'Case was received March 16'.

My hope is I'm on a desk :)

Had a very crazy day, no time to track approvals on VJ today.  I haven't seen anyone saying they have an approval - Anyone else catch any????

How about you @twoDs  Have you noticed any?

Got PM'd by someone with a 3/29 NOA1 and they're getting an RFE. No hard copy yet. Just a tracker update.

It'll be interesting to hear what the RFE is for.

I haven't seen any. I usually copy the database here towards the end of the evening so we'll see if there's any updates, but I doubt there will be any.

I does look like 7/19 was a big day so there could still be a few floating around in mailboxes, but a week should get them to most people.

No RFEs within 50 cases of mine. Oddly I can't check any batches of cases following or including my case number with the app I'm using: "USCIS APP" from Google Play Store.

There is an approval from last week two above my wac number and below me is like 4 RFE's. Sighs. lol

I've got both both approvals(!) and RFEs within 15 cases of mine. All from June.

I'm using the same USCIS case tracker app AnJ is, I think. You can also just drop numbers into the USCIS case status web page manually.

I wonder if lawyer prepared cases get handled differently, I'm sure RFEs can happen but it's going to be really hard to find the "forgot to check a box" excuse type problems with them.

Some apps have a 100 per day limit per IP address

I use wifi, then turn off wifi and use data to get around it

Maybe something like that????

We almost certainly have our cases within a few digits of each other given the received date and what you're seeing.

I think you are right about that. Maybe we will get approved at the same time that would be great :D

This app allows 3 batch requests per day from whatever case number you input in batches of 20, 30 or 50. I usually do my case minus 51 in order to avoid the error. Just went back 101 cases and no error. For some reason it doesn't like my case or any case after it.

Just did a quick check on the database, there's no new NOA2 from 7/14 or later that weren't there yesterday, so unless someone comes up later today or updates their timeline, today is a big goose egg for approvals.

I swear, I imagine these processing centers to be like DMV, but worse.. lol

hahahha  OK so if we are 8.5% of total petitions, and zero today X 13 means they processed how many petitions today in total?  :jest:

but seriously, it shows how just a random slice of the whole can be representively skewed.

Actually given the pattern in the VJ databases, I wouldn't be surprised if there's multiple zero total petition days. Especially for July!

It sure looks to me like they batch K1 processing -- you can see it in the issue dates over time. In June something on the order of 1/2 of all approvals happened on just 3 days of the month. My bet is they grab a couple bins mid-month, get them done, then go back to H1s or B visas or whatever.
