Yep, we feel ya. Having others in the same situation seems to make this seem a little more bearable.  The 'not knowing' is the worst thing.  If I was to learn that Dec 15 I would be adjudicated, I'd be happier than wondering every day until Dec 15....... So they really have us over a barrel.  For me, it seemed to get a little bit easier when I hit 4 months.  I have concluded that I'm either in a backlog room somewhere with 6 other 129F's - OR - I'm on someone's desk and just around the corner from being touched.  Either way, I can't control what happens, but I know that 4 months gives me seniority and I have to be closer to approval than from receipt.    Who I feel for is the Apr May Jun filers.  It appears their wait is going to be 4 months minimum to 6 months.  Ouch!

Yep.  June filer here just stopping in to say hello.  Originally I was hoping to have the family in Chicago for their first white Christmas.  Now I'm hoping for opening day for the White Sox... My timeline has dropped over two weeks so far and I anticipate being pushed back a bit more.  I just keep reminding myself that each day that passes is one day closer to being together even if it feels like it is one day farther away.

Here is to hoping that all of you March people get back on track soon so you can put the waiting behind you!

Nothing in my fiancés informed mail either but he stops by the mailbox on his way home from work everyday to check. What worries me is he lives in a huge complex of apartment buildings so there is a huge row of mailboxes. What if our noa2 is put in the wrong box. I guess though if that were the case we would eventually hear hopefully from Nvc. Sigh Day 135 and tomorrow is another day.

I check my mailbox religiously, so far nothing important has been missed by informed delivery but it's safe to say it's nowhere near 100% of my mail.

Day 135 is significant. The longest wait for NOA2 for March filers that have it is 134 days -- three people had to wait that long, all 3/7 and 3/8 filers, with 7/19 and 7/20 NOA2s.

We're officially pioneers now in uncharted territory.

Oh gosh, that's probably even worse! So much stress at once.

Ahh, let's keep our heads up, March Whiner Troopers! The end is near (right??? lol)

Ah yes so much stress. I told my fiance just now that I wish I could just quit both jobs and come to the states to wait but we both know I wouldn't get across the border without good ties to Canada and the jobs are huge ties. LOL Also those jobs are paying for my current bills and also savings towards paying for my flight to montreal and my medical and my visa fee.

Heck you guys are not that far down from Colorado. When we all get to the states and settled maybe we will have to meet up sometime. I have friends in Arizona I want to visit eventually. :)

Called USCIS yesterday n was told there's a 7+ month wait. Basically I have to wait over 7 month before my case can be touch. :o  my received date is March 15 notice date March 22. I really don't understand.

Started noticing so many February filers still waiting...... GinAustin, MissABC, Twinee, JulzGhen, Ana&Matt, Bluruce, Camie

7 months, huh?  Perhaps they are starting to notice their own processing times and telling the truth to callers.  Perhaps they are focused on back tracking to clean up their debris from previous months....

Who knows.  I really wish we'd see some heavy approval days here on VJ

I wish we would too. Only because I know Montreal is a slower consulate. Right now I fully expect the earliest I might get to be with Chris is end of October. If it gets into November I will probably Fly in instead of having him drive up to get me and then the next spring we can drive up and visit my family and get the rest of my junk, I mean stuff important stuff. LOL

By the time us Marchies get approvals, you could cross country ski across the border and won't need that note from Uncle Sam to cross

Yesterday I linked to a January (1/13 NOA1) filer that just got an RFE (7/21). On the one hand, it means the case has been touched, but they'll be past 8 months when they get the NOA2. I can't imagine.

I've noticed a little bit of cleanup as well. 18 of the 66 NOA2s issued in July are pre-March filers, include two from December and three from January.

Wouldn't ya be ticked to wait >6mos to get an RFE????

Still holding my theory: they are focusing on anything pre 30 March and on Aug 1st - anything left undone gets backlogged again so they can start on April.

Me too.  A week or two would have been nice :)

I bet that wall comes down next week.   Time will tell, whether I'm a fool or guessed correctly but something drew a line in the sand between March and April

If it makes you feel any better, there's one database entry for an April 3 notice date. 3/31 had its first NOA2 as well recently, and USCIS has made it pretty clear their calendar operates on some kind of fuzzy Heisenberg approximate time. You're likely a March like the rest of us.

Same NOA2 date. I'm wondering when I should call them too

@SChamb @Majuuu @belle4310

Our case took a little over 2 weeks to reach NVC after NOA2, but there was the July 4 holiday in there as well

07/03 - NOA2 notice date (shows on hard copy)

07/05 - received email notification with approval, and this is the date that shows on the online tracker which was updated to Approved

07/08 - NOA2 hard copy received

07/18 - case received at NVC

07/21 - case # assigned

07/21 - case In Transit from NVC to consulate

Still in transit as of 07/26
