funny thing about age, I have had my 39th birthday 16 times.  Eventually my F will catch up with me   However, on a serious side, Yes, Age is just a number.  My F in many ways is more mature than I, and I still remember the phrase 'It's not the years, but the Miles'.

Sure does.  We certainly noticed the apparent lack of action on their part.

So, basically, June 26th it was announced? I am assuming... People quickly get their packets together which start rolling in to the USCIS around the 5th... This was our wall right here. Amazing how one little thing like this can change the lives of so many... sad day.
If they were gonna do this, they should have had a separate team for these petitions because they are not doing themselves or any of us any favors.

If someone pays a premium, then their case gets noticed.  Someone who doesn't pay gets backlogged.  Since when does affluence have influence?  Apparently it does.

so, I guess they are putting us on the back burner - again.    Seems odd, none the less

Actually this is may very well be a good sign, not a bad one. They stopped premium processing in very early April due to backlog.

 

Resuming means the backlog is probably reduced and/or they have the staff to process them. Hopefully that means the

people tasked with clearing the backlog in April are freed up to go back to processing K1s.

I'm glad it's only a portion of the H1-Bs that are receiving the white glove treatment. That whole program is really a scam for the government to make a whole ton of extra money and companies to recruit lower salaried workers than natives that can't quit or they face deportation.

Hello my fellow March K1 friends;  One of the big days is finally here ... I'm in Santo Domingo for my fiance's visa interview at 7am tomorrow!  Please cross fingers, toes, arms, legs; say a prayer; do a dance!  We'll take whatever we can get.  I don't think I'm going to sleep at all tonight.  One thing is certain: there will be tears tomorrow ... either tears of joy (and relief) or tears of despair!
