So happy for you two! Have you set a date yet?

Indeed we have it was going to be December 1st the day before Lisa's birthday 😁 But we decided to move it forwards to November 17th so I can move to USA a little earlier 😅

HAHAHA  Yeah, so you get it.....

it's kind of an inside joke for Filipinos when you :whistle:Jollibee Delivery:whistle: jingle.  The food is sooo good there, and they deliver breakfast for about 200 peso ($4usd).  My F already looked to see how many are in the US and the closest is in jacksonville - 4hrs from S Fla.

Thanks! We were having trouble as well and she was definitely not sold on the idea of having a jacket until we went to a shop and she saw what it would look like. I think most places, even the larger chain shops, will have some ability to do custom depending on what you are looking for. Getting it done custom does take time and is a little more expensive, but so worth it in my opinion.

By the way, does DKM stand for Dropkick Murphys?

When I was already having the engagement ring made, I was recommended a "mom and pop" custom jeweler by a friend. They did a really nice job on rings for he and his wife, so I might check them out first.

You got it! Been a fan since I was about 12, which is only about a year or two from when they got together. Finally got to see them in Boston on St. Patty's Day a few years ago. Amazing show.

ahahaah....I like their fries.  I had to visit the local Jollibee in the Mall in Iloilo City this past Feb. where my fiancee lives.  First time I ever had was in Manila in 2013.  I am going back August 18th to visit my Fiancee again and will have to order some fries and try the spicey chicken. I always just had the hamburgers and still prefer McDonalds.  I only wish they served Balut there.  lol

If they served Balut, I'd never eat there.  Wow, just can't imagine that.... Seriously?   uh hummm :)

If they don't approve my petition soon, I'm planning on returning in Sept.  4 months away from my treasured fiancee is about the maximum I can do, but each departure is getting harder and harder so I'm hoping for a noa2 soon so I can go be with her for the interview and NOT have to leave without her.  Besides, at about a grand a flight, this is getting expensive waiting on that golden ticket.

Tomorrow is day 130 receipt, day 125 notice.  I can honestly say that I am weary of checking the mail day in / day out with the same results... Isn't that the definition of insanity?

Have a great trip!  (stay out of the balut!)

Hahahaha....I hear ya on the Balut.  lol

I got a round trip ticket to manila from Tampa for less then $1000.  and best of all its only a total travel time there of 22.5 hours and 25 hours back.  Last time I spent $1200 and my trip back was 35 hours...I about died sleeping on the floor of John F Kennedy for 5 hours because they close the main terminal at like 12 pm and don't open up until 6am....worst experience of my life...(other then trying Balut.)  ahahaha

No worries, you should check your mailbox frequently. They don't update the tracker after they update for response received. We got approved after a week they got the response, and the tracker still says 'response received'. :)

Yeah! will keep checking on it. Hopefully real soon we will received it. Thank you!

Yes, the certificate of good conduct is from the Foreign Ministry. Definitely get a fresh new one though the validity is one year. You'll be submitting the original document to the embassy.

For birth certificate translation, contact aznie@itbm.com.my and let her know you want your birth certificate translated and she'll give you a quote before proceeding. And you're right, the extract of birth certificate with Malay words are not accepted. It has to be in full English except for yours and your parents' names + name of a place that has no translation or shouldn't be translated at all.

For I-134, he'll need to provide you with his tax transcripts that can be downloaded from IRS website.

If you're looking at a September interview, I'm sure you'll have more than enough time.

And no, we are only doing a courthouse wedding completely in the US and gonna proceed with the next immigration stage so that we could get on with our lives as normal as possible. Have a great wedding dinner in Malaysia though! ;)

Thanks for your help!

I sent Aznie a quick email for the birth cert translation.
