Every morning when I check informed delivery I brace myself for disappointment. But not this morning! Top of the email was a picture of a letter from USCIS! I almost can't wait until 3.

Wooohooo congrats!

It is bitter sweet for me though, very happy for you guys ;) but as mentioned in my post above, yet again another case submitted after us getting approved. Don't understand the process !

Three NOA2 have been issued for the 28th. While this data is available looking it up on the timelines pages, I was curious and did some crunching of numbers last night. This should be mostly correct.

You can see that quite a few dates through the 14th have about 3/4 of their applications approved.

I actually dot-plotted every app and there is a trend line that decreases over time, as you'd expect if they process older applications first, but it's not a clean plot at all.

Date % with NOA2 # Apps #NOA2
2017-Mar-01 68% 22 15
2017-Mar-02 71% 7 5
2017-Mar-03 60% 15 9
2017-Mar-04 50% 2 1
2017-Mar-05 0% 1 0
2017-Mar-06 75% 32 24
2017-Mar-07 76% 17 13
2017-Mar-08 80% 5 4
2017-Mar-09 47% 19 9
2017-Mar-10 22% 9 2
2017-Mar-11 70% 10 7
2017-Mar-13 74% 19 14
2017-Mar-14 75% 12 9
2017-Mar-15 56% 18 10
2017-Mar-16 46% 24 11
2017-Mar-17 33% 9 3
2017-Mar-20 33% 27 9
2017-Mar-21 30% 20 6
2017-Mar-22 60% 10 6
2017-Mar-23 56% 9 5
2017-Mar-24 43% 7 3
2017-Mar-25 100% 1 1
2017-Mar-26 50% 2 1
2017-Mar-27 29% 14 4
2017-Mar-28 27% 11 3
2017-Mar-29 38% 13 5
2017-Mar-30 0% 3 0
2017-Mar-31 0% 9 0

I also did this for a few of the major countries with a lot of applications. The results were a little counter-intuitive, part of this may be the timing of the applications, but some countries are clearly getting a lot more attention than others. In particular March applications for India, Nigeria, Ukraine and Vietnam all have  2/3s of their NOA2s approved, and USCIS must hate Mexico:

Australia	63%	8	5
Brazil	61%	18	11
Canada	58%	19	11
China	50%	6	3
Colombia	33%	9	3
Dominican Republic	36%	11	4
Germany	40%	5	2
India	67%	9	6
Japan	57%	7	4
Mexico	20%	5	1
Nigeria	67%	12	8
Philippines	46%	81	37
Russia	50%	10	5
Ukraine	67%	9	6
United Kingdom	50%	28	14
Vietnam	67%	6	4

I for one, really appreciate seeing your numbers.  Thanx!!   Hope you keep sharing them as you work them out.

I got my fiance's wedding band custom made into a jacket. It came in today! (her engagement ring had to be sent along with it and is in the center). Things are moving along and so excited!

Wow! That's beautiful and a great idea! I'll have to run that idea by my fiancee. I've been having a hard time finding a complimentary wedding band that goes with her engagement ring, so maybe we'll talk to a custom jeweler.

Thanks very useful data!. I see the most march 1-15 is above 50 percent while march 16-31 is around 31 percent. I wonder if them being slow with certain people is due to how you put your packet together. I was convinced to do a binder and am afraid I put too much information in mine. I am a March 21 noa1.

Day 116 here. Our received date is March 28th... just wondering if anyone else has gotten approvals with this receive date?

We are also March 28th, nothing yet. I know there are a few others with the same date, but I don't think much has happened with them either. Hang in there, our time will come!

Ditto   I have the same thoughts.  Front loaded ours to ease my F at interview.  I'm pretty sure that I'm in a box marked 'xxx242 thru xxx260' sitting in the backlog room waiting for December end of year cleaning :)

Thank you for shared statistics! Please do this from time to time.

Can you clarify one thing - noa1 date is received of notice?

Also where are taking this data from?
