Olya, congratulations!!! I am following your updates and always get good news about our case one day later. So it means for me that we will get news from embassy today or tomorrow. Have you filled out DS-160 already? Was it easy to do for kids?

Thank you! Hopefully you get good news soon!

I was trying to fill out DS-160 for myself first but it wouldn't upload my photo:(

I think it was @Eric&Olya who also forgot to check that same box, and their case was approved like a week after they sent the response to RFE. Really fast!

Yep, that was us. The case was approved in 3 working days.

LOL after I looked it up I saw it was a holiday in Utah and I wasn't sure if the state could decide to halt mail service on a day or not. I guess you will be able to tell us for sure if your F gets mail on fancy Pioneer day!! haha :)

According to USPS website, they only have vacation for Federal holidays, so they should deliver, yep...

Not really expecting the NOA2 just yet, and my other half has electronic bills for almost everything, so he gets mostly coupons :P Not that prolific in mail normally anyway, LOL

Haha same here...bills and coupons! Plus I have 3 roommates so pretty much every day the informed delivery email is loaded with at least a few mail pieces. It's always such a tease...scrolling through them and getting to the end with no USCIS letter! I'm going to be shouting for joy the day I see that golden letter. :P

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered "Man.... Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."

No NOA2 in today's informed delivery email. This makes day 129 after the NOA1 was received. :(

Of the NOA2 issued for March Filers in July, the longest so far is 130 days. I wish that stays true but my hopes are low.

As of today the VJ database shows 12 NOA2s issued in July to March filers, which works out to about one NOA2 issued every two days.

So far 158 NOA2s issued to March Filers in total, out of 341 applications, so not even half of the March applications have NOA2s.

At this pace it will take nearly a year to issue the remaining NOA2s. Ridiculous.

Either they have lost all the evidence we sent or I do not know...

They confirmed receiving the lots of photos but they asked 1+1=2

Proof we met in last two years before filing the petition. We really sent some receipts with pics ( pics with date and place label from I phone gallery )

But this time as respond to rfe  we sent passport stamps showing we cross the boarder at the same time on same place, some ACM statements from that city in Croatia, booking reference, original concert tickets with labeled pics, print out of the web site where we were on the premiere of the movie.

One with his family.

We were together on vacation when rfe came :/

You know what sarcasm is? We live together and rented apartment here in Bosnia :)

He is self employed so he's been working couple of months in us and next 3/4 here. So when he is here we live together and we need to proof we met in last two years. There are some couples met only once in person for last two years but have sent this one simple proof such as boarding pass, hotel receipt...

So yours should be an easy fix hope you will get an approval soon.

It really wouldn't surprise me that they've lost some bits out of your packet... how i don't know! I've seen people have that same problem. I doubt it's because they don't think your in a bonafied relationship, i think it will be a USCIS error that they are trying to push the blame on you as if you didn't provide enough because like you say lots of couples have been approved with a lot less evidence and only met once or twice. Hopefully you hear something soon, i'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

I did the DS-160 today as well. My photo got accepted instantly, but I've got a cd from the photographer who took these awful passport pics of me, haha!

How did you get along with the DS-160?

Mine is finished by now. I just had to check back on something about an old tourist visa from 1983. Tomorrow I'll finish it, print and pay.
Then back to waiting! :)

Did you check the properties of the photo you were using to see if it was too big? I think they have to be 600x600 pixels.

Maybe you can resize that using Paint?

Hope you can figure it out, because it's annoying when you get stuck because of that kind of small things
