........... On a side note, she explained that she met with the USCIS a few weeks ago. She said that their backlog with EVERY type of immigration type has grown over the past year! In fact, she stated that the Houston office has about 30,000 applications pending!

Good luck with your expedite request.  I hope it works out for you.

Granted, on their side of the argument, it is true that petitions of all types have increased over the last 2 years.

However, on our side of the argument - there is fine money involved in this, as well.  Many sources say the adjudication takes 15 minutes.  Considering that is $2,140 an hour earned, and also considering that this amount would allow hiring additional adjudicators for the increased workload.  If 30,000 petitions are sitting in Houston alone..... That's $16,050,000.00 in unearned revenue.

I'd venture to say, if this was a private business that had 30,000 customers 'stiffed' - there'd be a prosecutor with an indictment soon thereafter.

Has anyone in the group sent off their I-134 information to their beneficiary before receiving NOA2? I'm wondering because my boss is notoriously bad at getting paperwork to me without constant hounding, and even then it can take weeks. If I start bugging him now, and by some miracle I get the letter before my NOA2, will the date on the letter have any negative impact? I mean, all the pertinent info (salary, date started, job title, etc.) won't change between now and then. Thanks!

Yeah, that was my 'excuse' to take another vacation from work because I 'had' to deliver it to her LOL

I delivered a wet signature I-134 and also a complete copy of the 129F petition.

I have - Mainly because my boss is constantly out of the office - I figure that I can just include more pay statements to show that I have continued to stay employed.

I did. I sent mine off a month or so before NOA2. My lawyer that I fired said it will not have a negative impact, but then again, he was a lousy lawyer.

Thanks @AnJ Co @DaveS1172 & @TriloByte for your input. Going to try and get a letter out of him and have it sent to me with my pay stub this week. I'll send the most recent pay stubs when I actually send the mail off to my fiancee. As an aside, I wonder why they want multiple pay stubs if each one shows year to date information from which you can extrapolate weekly and annual pay. When I recently moved, the agent I worked with was fine with just my most recent pay stub just for that reason. Oh well. It's the gubbermint. Gotta play by their rules.
