All these stars came up on my USCIS ap but it was just a bunch of new uscis news irrelevant to k1 visas too.. boooo I got all excited lol

I was born ready! I just need to find out a way to make USCIS to acknowledge that

My timeline just moved into August. Good thing I never expected any good luck coming our way. You have to laugh at the whole thing

It's interesting that your NOA1 is after mine, but your estimated processing is earlier than mine *scratches head*  lol

I keep thinking that's because you said your case was Transferred, when I think, judging by your dates, it was only sent there from the lockbox, not really a transfer.

Oh! is that something I need to change? I didn't realize there was a difference.. I'm gonna change that right now!

And it would be okay even if yours was approved before mine because I know it will all be good eventually =)

I know there are tons of people ahead of me that are still waiting so obviously I should try to be more patient but I swear it feels like everyone from my class is graduating while I'm being held back for summer school.

We were mentally preparing for the 5 month NOA2 time frame just to not set ourselves up for disappointment.  We have been pleasantly surprised along the way

Hello March fillers,Day 133......My fiancée called USCIS today and they told her that they are doing background check on the Petitioner and  Beneficiary.  Please how long will it take for for this background check? The waiting is too much now.

They will say the same thing if you call on Day 60.

 

There's no way of knowing how long NOA2 will take, but we know that the time for March filers is much longer than it was for January and February, and hardly any NOA2s have come out in July. It might help to call your congressperson, but all evidence says the USCIS is sticking to the "it takes five months" line. Right now we can only hope it's shorter.

No one could really answer this question for you.. it varies for everyone. Depends on many factors.. how many places you lived, if you get a HIT on your name/bday,  if you have a criminal record.. etc.
