My Amazon order just shipped today too, so apparently it's kind of the same thing :D Just if USCIS and NVC were equally fast! :P

I just made the same revelation - I ordered something weeks ago - I was charged pretty much when I made the order, but still waiting for it to ship. Then of course it actually getting delivered is a whole other ordeal. For all the great things about Hawaii, getting mail or deliveries is not one of them.

Hey all!
So, I have seen some questions about what the electronic cases are and for some reason when I wasn't even thinking about it, it hit me. This is just my thoughts and I could be totally wrong here, but I am gonna throw it out there.... Maybe like what happened in the health care industry when everything went electronic and they had to scan every little document from every single file that existed on their shelves and into their system to make things run smoother, quicker and more efficiently with less mistakes and so things could be easily retrieved from another location... maybe this is what they are working on and why things are not moving so quickly right now, but maybe soon will be and why it isn't taking so long from NVC to embassys as TearsofBabylon had mentioned with her case... thoughts?
I'd really like to think this is what is happening! and our cases will go much quicker once they will get to them again!

I'd really like to think this is what is happening! and our cases will go much quicker once they will get to them again!

A girl I know (lucky her, she's flying from Germany to Detroit for good today) has told me that she had a giant delay in her case, because of NVC changing their system to electronic cases.
So it doesn't seem it's on USCIS side....
And when I called NVC, the operator said "you're one of our new electronic cases", so I assume they're done changing already, since this girl is a January filer and already flying out; means she had that "trouble" around May.

In the German subforum I got told all German petitions are becoming electronic cases. I don't know about others though.

So long story short: To me it seems only NVC, not USCIC has had changes, and it doesn't affect the NOA1 to NOA2 stage.

Just my 2 cents, which could be wrong!

Oh, that sucks. My fiance used to live in Hawaii, and I never really had an issue with Amazon delivering there. Maybe I got lucky :)

Okay... this is pretty cray! Like what the?! Check out the bottom of the list! There is actually a lot from March that have been approved and one from April, May and even June?! Like that is real! Although the June one could be a mistaken entry on NOA2 or something since they are not clickable.... but still!
