Just out of interest, did your online case tracker update at all or does it still say "Received" ?

Congrats again, hopefully we get more this week.

Congratulations. Sounds like it actually caught you by surprise :)

So nice to see your approval, and that approvals are continuing to trickle in.

a little piece of me just died when i looked at the estimated processing date =/ why do i look at that?! It has now touched August

I actually smiled when I read your post.  I thought of our timeline how on June 16 it said June 18 to 21. Then every few days slid right a few points, to touching in and out of July.  Today it says: July 8, 2017 and July 16, 2017*.

What scares me is if it STOPS sliding, then I'll be worried.

I seriously hope the flood gates open soon with many long overdue approvals.

Hello :) Good to include a cover letter on top of the RFE sheet plus the required documents. That way they can easily identify who sent them in and what's included.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

Just got the letter from the NVC saying they were forwarding my case to the Embassy and it also had my case# and Invoice# on there as well. Hope the Embassy gets it soon and sends packet 3 to my love. Anybody know how long it takes to get the packet 3? Can we do things now without it if we have the case#?

You can start preparing the I-134 and tax returns transcripts, letter from employer and paystubs, letter of intent along with a copy of the I-129F to mail to your beneficiary.

On her end, it's best that she waits till the embassy has her case file and she's almost finished gathering the required documents before scheduling an interview and medical. She can get her police certificate, divorce decree (if applicable), any required Thai documents translated etc beforehand. She'll also need to have evidence of relationship with her as she'll need to bring them to the interview. If she wants to submit the DS-160 and pay the fee first, that's fine too since the payment made is valid for a year.

Here's the Thai US embassy Packet 3 and Packet 4 info: https://th.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/packets/
