Dear March filers, has anyone had any NOA2s today or yesterday?

3/13 sent-3/16 received dates here, just checking to see if anyone else who's waiting on USCIS has seen any progress <3

I finally see the first two new NOA2 updates for visa journey timelines past a date of july 07. One update last night for a guy from nigeria with a noa2 date of july 10 and another with a NOA2 date of July 12th from phillipeans that was updated today. Its not much after this weeks hiatus but hopefully this mean they are starting to send out new NOA2's again.

Ladies & Gents,

I am slightly torn here but after see people who have their NOA2 ad their day was after mine I called finally speaking to some one who wasn't a robot. She told me if I have proof of people with dates after mine getting their Approvals. I can send it in to a supervisor at the California service center. I was super excited and then it dawned on me. What if I send this in and the person who is reviewing my case gets in trouble and still handles my case. And they get spiteful. They have the power to approval for my case. I really want to write but slightly nervous. Just curious. what would you? Also I found a person who has a Nigerian case whose date is over 10 days after mine who got their approval letter last month same service center. Damn ...

Yayyyyy!! We got our NOA2 today! Dated 7/11. I'm so happy, still can't believe in that! I was with my fiance on the phone when he checked the mail, and them he was like omg wait I think this is it!! USCIS! And I'm like NOOOOO WAAAYYYYYY! LOL

Wow thats great news, thanks for posting! You hit exactly 4 months from NOA1 to getting NOA2 in mail with your date of March 16. This place has been an desert for news lately so this will keep our spirits up. Your update will bring the July counter to 23 NOA2's issued at mid july compared to 254 total for June. Keep us posted on when your fiancé receives the letter and the next steps.

I personally don't think it's a good ideal. They are aware of case being approved before the processing time. I know it's frustrating trust me especially seeing ppl being approved after my date. I guess we put so much hope in 3 months you should get you second notice.  Oan: I'm happy someone from Nigeria have been approved. I know other countries are still waiting as long as I have been but I was wondering everything with Nigeria been a high fraud country. Any who true love will provail in the end by God's grace.

Personally I'd stay away from doing that too at this point. I don't know by how much that'd speed up your case, as you might be just a few days away from getting a notice anyway (hopefully!) I doubt they'd give you any helpful information and it'd probably be just another prepared and official statement. I doubt they approve cases after ours on purpose, it seems that they just don't have a system that'd keep it 100% fair and are just handling it how they can. I feel like it's just a human factor. Some officers have been there for years and go faster than others who might be more new.

However, I do agree that such agencies need to receive feedback to know what needs to be fixed or put more effort into in order to improve and speed things up. So there's no definite answer to that...

Our RFE letter arrived today and they were asking for beneficiary's intent to marry (i'm the beneficiary) thank goodness that's all :D In the packet, we have sent them our LOI stating "we intend to marry" with both of our signatures in just one letter. It seems like they want the LOI be individualized for the petitioner and beneficiary.

I'm just wondering if I can include some of our text conversations about the wedding plans (since we haven't booked any venues yet) in the LOI? And is it necessary to have a RFE cover letter?

That's an easy fix. :)  No need for all those.  You'll be showing that to the consul on your interview anyway. :)  Congratulations.  Just a few more steps! :):):)
