Dear March filers, has anyone had any NOA2s today or yesterday?

 

3/13 sent-3/16 received dates here, just checking to see if anyone else who's waiting on USCIS has seen any progress <3

You have to check under Immigrant, and I think you use the case number, not invoice one (because everyone says invoice number is useless ).

I told her I didn't think it was right that the fees for this process went up by a lot in December and now everyone is just waiting around while they aren't doing anything. She said that was just my opinion and probably not the case and told me again what they could do. The call was frustrating and felt like a waste of time. I just kinda felt like if I could let someone know now, that it might be helpful later on so that they would see the problem is ongoing. But that lady on the other end just didn't seem to care too much.
So, question... do I waste my time contacting a congressman when I feel like I would only get the same response?
Not only has my estimated processing date been moved back, but my number on Igor's list has not really changed much in some time.
I'm not really stressed but lately I do get sad on my 30+ min drive home because it is so late at night and I can't really call anyone to talk to someone that late so my mind starts thinking about this stuff especially when I hear certain songs lol I used to talk to my F on my way home, but since he got his new job, his hours are total opposite of what they were and now he is working when im driving home =(
But yeah... hopefully they start touching the K1's again soon because we did not pay so much money for our cases to just be sitting in a pile and not being touched! That is what makes me annoyed about this. If they were being touched and it took until the end of July, that would be a different story. But, it just seems like they aren't doing anything with ours.

If the staffer from your congress member didn't say anything about sending you some form to fill out with DOBs and names, then they would likely just call Tier 1 and get the "we are currently processing Feb 15" line. It is really frustrating that many of these people have absolutely zero regard for the people's lives and futures they are messing with here. It's as if we're nothing but ATM machines for them.

She said I would need to fill out the privacy release form so that they could, but still, I really feel it would be the same response from USCIS CSC that would be given to me.

So, I just spoke to a representative at the USCIS regarding “expedited” processing due to a medical condition. It was surprising that we were talking to one another after just one minute (after I had to listen to numerous recordings about the case and process first). We should find out a decision in about five days. However, I think this will either be 1) send in proof or 2) denial. Still, this is important to us!

 

This representative seems extremely professional and expressed concern with our situation. We ended up speaking for a while after he finished completing the request.  I mentioned some of the posts regarding policy and procedure changes that may be affecting us and others on this site/thread (I did not mention this site by name). He insisted that any policy change that would impact customers would be immediately disclosed on the USCIS website and that there are no such changes affecting 129F. He told me that he also reads about customers’ experiences online to be better informed about what we are going through. It was his opinion that much of what we find is speculation and is not based on fact.

He further explained that the processing dates listed on their website is based on current organizational goals. I know that this has been mentioned in other posts, but I thought that it would be worth sharing as support of this argument. Further, he was telling me how another customer said that the processing dates for her case had not “moved” for months, but that they moved about “five months” just today. I [jokingly] asked him if this was the 129F, we laughed (I did not ask the type of application this applied).

 

Anyway, the reason I wanted to post this was to say that:

The representative was friendly and helpful

It does not appear that any policies have put the 129F “on hold”

Correction: It's not useless; you need it for the DS-160 :-)

i saw two noa2 july 07 updates yesterday on the timeline list, but havnt seen any with a noa2 dates later than july 07 yet. The two people who updated seemed to have gotten it a week later than the other july 07 noa2s. I see they are still process noa1s/cashing people checks though. im hoping they start producing new noa2's dates by next week.

I've called myself a couple of times, at different times of the day, and I never was on hold longer than 5 minutes. I was afraid of waiting lines for 30+ minutes! Lucky me in that case!

exact same dates, 3/13 received, 3/16 NOA1 ... but no sign of any movement. Even an RFE will be better than nothing

Yeah, agreed..  it would at least mean the case didn't get lost.

If only they would get the stupid tracker working, then we could see from scans if anything is really happening or not.
