The first person I spoke with said email ask nvc. I did look it up and lead me to https://secureforms.travel.state.gov/ask-nvc.php . I wrote in the comment / question section. I told the #1 op several times the month-date-year. And even dd/mm/yyyy ; yyyy/dd/mm formats. She simply said: "Birth date did not match on file."

@Yzabelle Hopefully you get yours too ASAP.!

I already did the same yesterday.. They couldn't even reply back to my emails since July 6. Today we didn't call them at all.

You're so lucky. :(( I'm already stressing about that everyday

It appears USCIS has put NOA2 approvals are on hold indefinitely since July 07. I searched google and saw news on changes on legal immigration  getting pushed through congress to decrease legal immigration by 50 percent. Reading through this forum some people are mentioning a  conversion to a electronic system and someone else mentioned this occurred in July last year as well. We almost got through and are now held up

This is terrible news! I searched online, but could not locate this information myself. I even went to the U.S. Congress website (https://www.congress.gov/search?q={"congress":"115","source":"legislation","search":"Uscis"}&searchResultViewType=expanded), but am still having trouble finding this news...

Would you please post links to the sourses?

Thank you!

I would not read too much into this as i noticed a feb approval on feb filers today so i dont know about holding approvals maybe just slow .. keep your   head up high try not to worry! One article is one article if it was more serious than that it would be posted on the uscis website...

Stubborn German called again, using option 5 instead of option 7 ( @Eric&Olya:D:D:D )....

So the wait was about 1 minute, the very, very nice lady on the phone said we're one of the new electronic cases, they've received our petition on Tuesday, but it's not in the system yet.
So our number should be generated soon! Hooray!
No medical still - but at least they have it! :D:D:D

See, it pays off to be stubborn, sometimes! Congrats :D

How will you know if you're one of the electronic cases? :((

I think you'll know if your case goes from NVC to Embassy ready in a matter of days. I think I saw a timeline of one couple here that went from NVC to Embassy in 4 days. Lucky them!

@TearsOfBabylon, you are one of those lucky ones! :D

You will get it soon! We had the same feeling. I never thought it could effect me so much but I hardly managed to stay patient and do my everyday things. I was praying to get RFE insted of that silence and we got it. Lol.. So you just wait for NOA2 and you will get it. Btw our RFE was so.... They asked if my fiance had any issues with law.. He never had and brobably our lawer missed this part in the petition. Good luck you guys! We (those who got approval) understand you very much and just remember that everybody gets it here!

Thank you so much, Tanya for support and positive vibes!

You've described exactly what I feel, though I do not pray for an RFE :)

Approval only! :)

Happy for you guys with your current status, one step closer to the interview! Good luck with the finals! ;)

Now I'll wait until my tonight to see if Scott got the email with the number. Otherwise I'll call again tonight and then on Monday! :)

@Eric&Olya: No other Germans here, but it's posted in the German subforum. Although all active users right now are ahead of me :)

The operator told me on the phone, after I tried option 5.
But I got told in the German subforum that all Germans are electronic cases.

I'm interested when you'll get the email. Still no email for us. Also, curious how fast it'll go for you since you are one of the few electronic cases. I'm guessing electronic cases are country specific if all German applicants are electronic ones.

I think so! But I had no clue about that stuff either! I didn't know it exists haha
