Woooooow! Olya!! :D:D:D
Congratulations! Dang, that was quick!! See - you're now ahead of me, while you were bummed for the RFE! Everything turned and will further turn out good! Great!
Really happy for you!

Necessary question: Did you call or did they send THE EMAIL to Eric? :)

I kind of cancelled my apartment for August 31st, so I'm eager to receive ours!

Thank you! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Eric's message first thing in the morning!

He called yesterday evening and followed the instruction that I shared (dialled 7). No email yet. I think they send it when the case is being sent to the embassy.

They updated the processing time! It's now February 15th....

I just submitted an inquiry  (I called USCIS)....

I didn't get the standard "within normal processing times".

We'll see what happens now (if anything)

I did too.
We are expecting an answer by August the 4th.... AHHH! Can't believe this!

Ohhhhh okay!
Maybe I give it another try today. Actually I've planned on not calling again until next week.
But tomorrow would still be a chance to rush to the medical in case they have something. Hmmmm....

Was it his first call?
Just snuck your timeline, your NOA2 is a few days after ours, so maaaaaaaaaaaaybe?! :D
Though all the Germans I'm in touch with said, it really takes a month to get the number. Now you're proof of opposite hehe

He called yesterday morning, and it went straight to the voice recording, so he hung up.

Then he called in the evening again, and managed to get through. So basically the first call, yeah. We are lucky this time:)

Fingers crossed for you!

Great! You deserve that, after the RFE bummer! :)
I called on Tuesday at 13:30 CET, and including the waiting line it was 14 minutes. So not too bad either! :)

I've got your instructions screenshotted here at the work computer haha :)

Yeah it's so frustrating, I know the feeling. I broke down and am sending a letter to my senator. I know people with dates before me are still waiting and I haven't been waiting THAT long in comparison to others, but I figure it couldn't hurt to at least try to get my senator involved. It's just so irritating to be in the dark. If we at least knew petitions were processed in order and there was some kind of reliable update system on the status then it would be easier to deal with and plan around. Hopefully things speed up and work out for both of us though! fingers crossed!

122 days for us as of today!

Lets just belive in the best! This is the only thing we can do!

Fingers crossed! ;)

How do I even go about changing it like who do I contact?

If the case is with USCIS, you wait....sorry. If it's at NVC, you can try to convince them to change it while it's there. It's o my there for about a week. I was unsuccessful at doing so. After that, you need to contact the embassy where you want to receive the case (Sydney) and request that they transfer the case there. The delay for me was several days to recognize one my request and about a week to ship the documents to the new embassy.
