Something is going on from filers after March 13.......am March 15....still nothing. Smh

Yeah, I see that too. I wish we could know the reason! This long wait and uncertainty are awful. :(

I've written my Senator just now airing my frustrations with this process. Here's a slightly edited version of what I wrote:

Dear Mike,
I am a constituent and supporter of yours from -. I am writing in regards to the legal immigration process facing those who choose to marry a spouse from abroad. I met my Ukrainian sweetheart, Anna, through a mutual friend that lives in -. After chatting for a period of time, we met in her country and hit things off very well. We decided we wanted to start a family together and I proposed to her this Valentine's Day. She accepted and we began the long, very expensive, and frustrating process of gaining the bureaucratic blessing upon our life together. She has not been approved yet, we are still waiting, but I wanted to give my feedback with this process so far. First of all, what we get for our exorbitant fees (~$2500 in government fees alone not counting travel, document preparation etc.) seems to be sorely lacking. The USCIS is supposed to have a functioning tracking system that allows you to check the status of your case and notify you of updates. This has been broken for months. There are various forums and websites out there which people in my circumstance use and self-report their progress as notifications arrive through snail mail. If you call the USCIS support line, you are given data from their website which has not been updated since April 30, 2017. Support operators will pretty much call you a liar if you point this out or the fact that people who have filed past the published day USCIS is supposedly working on are, in fact, receiving approvals. For the ridiculous amount of money that we are required to pay to be with the ones we love, which one cannot put a price on, we should at least have a transparent and honest system and really shouldn't be employing call centers full of people who are paid to parrot inaccurate information. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Regards,
-

Well said! 👍🏻

Yay congrats! Such a relief to see things move, even if it's just one approval at a time.

I'm sorry if you've already written it, but could you remind what your RFE was about?

Hi there, reason for RFE is to prove that the dating website where we met which is filipinocupid.com, is not a marriage brokering services, and the instance how we met online (specific i guess).

Hoping you get your NOA2 soon.:)

And I totally understand her! :)

But I'm concodering to have a look at it though need to be 100% sure that the place to stay will be super civilized! :)

UGH I am so frustrated. Officially passed the VJ estimate for NOA2 (knew that would happen), but so annoying to still be waiting. Got a new position at work which is awesome, but at first they were fine with my upcoming leave in September to visit fiance for 5 weeks + attend his interview. I made sure they knew this was happening before I had a 2nd interview and before I was given the official offer, but now they are saying it's going to be an issue. I already paid a $300 change fee once for switching my flight dates and now may end up having to do it again AND come back early missing out on 2 weeks of time with my fiance. And the chances of me attending his interview will definitely be out the window. This all on top of finances being so stressful and worrying about how we will pay for all of this immigration ####### plus plane tickets plus engagement and wedding ceremony to make families happy. BLAHHHHH Guess I'm feeling extra whiny today. :( Hope you all are having a better day and are in better spirits than me today! lol

Will probally have a change of plans as well.

We considered to go to the interview together and had a week of time to spend since our last meeting in early February.

But all this possible only if the interview will be scheduled until September.

Looks like not meant to happen - no noa2 as of today.

Sigh 😔

congrats .. I see you had RFE in June though, so at least they touched your case.

I was wondering, what are the chances of mail going missing in the US. We sometimes get it here in the UK, when mail just gets misplaced/lost or whatever. For all you know, USCIS is waiting for RFE reply or something, but we never got the snail mail ?

If they would just fix that online tracker, it would make life so much easier.

The tracker works for RFE's. Also, they notify you via email/text as well so you'd know if you got one.

Ummm you should fill her in that Mexico really isn't that "dirty".....

Depends on your perspective, what your standards are and what you're used to. I've been to nice areas in Mexico (tourist areas) and dirty areas (a few border towns). It's a huge country with a large variety of scenery. Mexico City is one of the most polluted cities in the world. I wouldn't consider it clean at all. Also, I'm not one to thought police my fiancée. She's free to her opinion and to change it based on experience.

This is true.. Even my Fiancé, who is a Mexican, admits this too. :)) His grandparents are from Mexico before they moved to the US long time ago.. My fiancé even told me there are some parts in Mexico where it's very dangerous, too :) but he said, he would still show me around to the safe places in there because there are still safe tourists spots in there..

Hi all, I've been lurking in the March filers since we submitted our application, have appreciated everyone's comments! Was feeling fairly positive through the experience since we got our NOA1 on March 13 and then our NOA2 on June 7...but since then silence. I've called NVC twice this week already and they still haven't received our case... They said it could take up to 6 weeks for the NVC to receive it, but since so many other March filers on VJ have already gotten their NVC notifications...we're getting really nervous...
