Why is it still in the NVC? did they give your MCN already? They said we can go  get out medical done even if the status is still at the NVC or in transit.. I know some who went there with just an MCN on hand.. :(( It feels like I'm still waiting for NOA2.. It's hard not being able to do anything. I can't move forward without the number

Hmm.. i read that it's ok as long as you have the case number (which we do, but we didn't get any email from them).  The SLEC site said you need the confirmation/ interview invitation before you can do the medical.  It's a requirement.  Maybe I'll call and see if we can just go and have our medical even if it is still with NVC.

thank goodness it's moving.  Congratulations! :)  The next few steps, though they're not as long as the wait for NOA2, are more taxing and challenging.  Nakakagigil na yung paghihintay.  Please continue to be patient and always keep yourself busy while waiting.

Again, congratulations. :)

Yes it seems most of March is getting nothing. I am March 20 but I noticed early March also still nothing. Its like they are doing 1 approval a week. I am using the above letter format and emailing my senator and congressman. Its worth a try.

Yea, am considering doing the same.

.I'll give them till the end of July.

Yay congrats! Such a relief to see things move, even if it's just one approval at a time.

I'm sorry if you've already written it, but could you remind what your RFE was about?

I realized that the reason it is slow today is because we would only see approval from 4-5th of July showing up in the mailboxes about now and that was a slow time. So hopefully this week is better and approvals are in process and more march filers will see the hard copies in the mailbox next week.

Still a few weeks before we expect ours but hopefully soon.

I joked about buying my fiancee a ticket to Mexico and then we could take a run for it, but she didn't think that was funny. :o Something about spiders, scorpions, dirty etc.

Ummm you should fill her in that Mexico really isn't that "dirty".....
