I am considering of writing to my senator 🤔 😕

You are also still waiting?

I am a March 16th filer. I wrote to mine yesterday and he responded less then an hour after. When the senators get involved there are special forms they send to you and they will contact the processing centers directly and get your case moving.  This happened for some of the members on here so I strongly encourage it. I pray to hear something by tomorrow from the senator. But the more ppl that reach out to their senators maybe it will get these cases moving because this is crazy.

I want to write mine today, what did you write? Just that  you were awaiting NOA2 and so on? It seems no one is being approved, I don't see anything for like a week.

I introduced myself and told him that I was a resident of their state and that I have a case pending within USCIS processing center in California.  I told him my filing date and that on the site it states that cases are handled in the order they are received, however due to other sources that are linked to the USCIS data base this has proven to be a lie and that there needs to be further investigation into their practices.  I told him that cases received after my filing date have been approved and I have heard nothing but they waste no time cashing the checks.  I asked for his sincere involvement in insuring that all cases not just mine are handled with urgency and fairness.  I asked that he also inquire about the processing times accuracy that is displayed on the website. I mentioned that if you call you are given only the obvious information that is lies on their website.  I mentioned the fact that I am a veteran and have great respect for our country and the people in it.  So he responded right away, sent me a form that was specific to my case so that he would know exactly what case, names and info and they take over from there. Others who have done this received their NOA2 within the next 2 to 3 days.

ok thank you that helps a lot. I will use similar verbage. Hopefully this helps! My fiance is really upset because I keep telling her a date then it passes, then another then another. I can't blame her for not believing anymore. It really seems like CSC is doing nothing this month. I heard it takes 15 minutes to process an application so what is going on?! No one knows.

Yes I read a article from a former employee and he said the same. That it takes them less then 10 minutes to approve, deny, or RFE a case. RFE's are pushed to the front of the line once you send back the information requested.  They have performance evaluations everyday and have to fill a quota everyday.  Some cases are handled faster then others depending on who has the box that contains your case. Slow agents are moved around and this may delay processing.  My argument is that this entire process is ineffective and they need to figure out a way to improve it or at least come up with a better tracking system for ppl waiting.  The tracking system should show who is pending background investigations and you should be able to speak directly to the agents that are handling your case instead of being forwarded to a lousy call center.  It's annoying.  If we pay we deserve better customer service.  But yes for your fiancé just let her know that you have applied, screen shot the proof and try to get her involved with pushing the case on her end as well. Couldn't hurt.

UGH I am so frustrated. Officially passed the VJ estimate for NOA2 (knew that would happen), but so annoying to still be waiting. Got a new position at work which is awesome, but at first they were fine with my upcoming leave in September to visit fiance for 5 weeks + attend his interview. I made sure they knew this was happening before I had a 2nd interview and before I was given the official offer, but now they are saying it's going to be an issue. I already paid a $300 change fee once for switching my flight dates and now may end up having to do it again AND come back early missing out on 2 weeks of time with my fiance. And the chances of me attending his interview will definitely be out the window. This all on top of finances being so stressful and worrying about how we will pay for all of this immigration ####### plus plane tickets plus engagement and wedding ceremony to make families happy. BLAHHHHH Guess I'm feeling extra whiny today. :( Hope you all are having a better day and are in better spirits than me today! lol

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered "Man.... Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."
