Yeah, I noticed that this morning. Fingers crossed for a functioning tracking system!

Guess I should have figured it was regularly scheduled maintenance but I'll still hold onto hope!

The USCIS case lookup site had been acting odd the past few week for us (a lot of page not loading and TLS security errors.)

I wouldn't get hopes up on this particular issue, sadly, I think it's just stuff they need to fix rather than upgrades.

Nothing in the mail yesterday. Day 115 from NOA1 notice today.

" A watched pot never boils". This has been my fiancè and mine's motto. Lol Though weve both seen a pot being watched boiled but it seems longer than the usual.

I think we'll just have to adjust our perspective in waiting. The same with the words written in a book, those wont change wether you are seeing it clearly or not. Though for now the thing we are waiting for seems blurry, that wont change the fact that it will really arrive.

I bought my wedding dress from my country 2 months before the graduating high school  proms. My dress is a prom one but white. It is not heavy, very comfortable and its long, body line and no back. It was about  400 dollars and I love it. I want beach wedding in Florida tidetheknotbeachweddings.com/wedding_packages/love-me-knot thats what i want. It is expensive though, we have to fly to Florida and have some place to stay over... it will be like 4 guests but money part is still kind a ussue. However e dont think about it now. All i want is to go  there and then the wedding stress may begin :D (if it looks like advertising will delete it )

Wow, you weren't kidding when you said expensive. lol

I live in Florida (the FUN side of Florida) and when my fiancee said she wanted a beach wedding, I thought 'Cool, that's easy'.  Regardless of 'when', it's always warm in South Florida.  My brother is ordained clergy and I plan to fly him in to officiate.  We looked at some of the wedding packages, and frankly the money they charge for what they give in return is lop sided.  We will come up with a game plan to setup at O'dark thirty, sunrise ceremony, then friends tear down on the way to a breakfast reception, then a honeymoon on Key West with anyone left behind use of my house until I return.  Further plans include kicking out anyone still in my house when we return HAHAHAHA

Ooo the prices for the ceremony are the easiest part. i worked the previous 3 summers in USA as j1 (thats how we met) so i have saved few thousants but they can cover only the ceremony i want plus my plane ticket and my sister`s plane ticket ( the only one guest from my side). He needs to figure out the plane tickets from Boston to Tampa for at least 4 ppl (his best  friends will help paying them ones), accomodation for same people for like a week (will be wedding + honeymoon), taxies and the dinner and another money for food or whatever we need during that week. I was supposed to be on H2B visa this summer and to earn enough money to afford everything but that plan scruled (and we filled our documents on March instead of January). However im getting married once, he also and we deserve to  have the best day in our live. Will work hard and cook potatoes and pasta for a year if its needed but want this wedding :D

How long does it take to get a green card?

Our attorney indicated adjustment of status (AOS/green card) takes about 6-9 months, but that he could get us advance parole so my future wife will be able to visit her mother in about 3 months, filed at the same time. Like the visa the times aren't guaranteed.

RFE's usually update in the USCIS case tracker before arriving in the mail. The tracker wasn't working lately, so people were getting the NOA2 in the mailbox. Keep an eye there!

Hope you heard something soon. I really don't know why, but as chaotically as they usually work, March seems to be even worse somehow...

i dont understand why people who do the things in the rifghts way get long waiting and hard time.

and others peole who just go to USA with whatever kind of visa, just overstay, get marry and get green card very easy.

it supose that they have broken the law, so it supose they dont have the right to adjust status, but they adjust status very easy and with their loves besides them, while we have to wait long time apart from our fiances.

the governement should change the rules and if a perso go with a visa diferent to a k1 to usa, that person shouldnt have the right to get marry there.

Point is supposed to be, the people getting married after coming on another visa, and adjusting, didn't plan that ahead, but it was an impromptu thing or something happened, so if there's not intentionality they don't break any law... I know, that's the theory and can seem unfair at times, but it's still the law

You are an example of patience, so don't get frustrated, girl :)

I see you're a Filipina.. Or maybe you're the petitioner and your beneficiary is also a Filipina. I'm sure whatever you're preparing for her, she will love it! Goodluck!

We both are. I'm the petitioner. It's nice to have it plan like a month before, but it appears that with our case, its required to have plans already in motion before the interview. I guess that's the whole purpose of k1 visa. So, yeah, anything can happen here and there but October will still be a special day for both of us. It's nice to celebrate thanksgiving here in Chicago. If you're lucky, you'll get the chance to feel the snow. We sometimes get snow right after thanksgiving. If you get a chance, visit Morton Arboretum, trees are at their best color show.

Thanks!

I have the case tracker App... it updated on July 6 and said that I will be receiving an RFE soon also so did the website.

From what I have read, it's usually a hit or miss with the tracker or website. Most people who receive RFE are notified by the app but people who receive NOA2 usually get the hard copy before anything is updated.

Hang in there! I know it feels hopeless sometimes, but it will come very soon. You can do it!
