After NOA2 everything is country specific. In Ukraine, for example, I believe you have to pay the embassy fee in person at a specific bank in Kiev and then take the receipt to your interview with your other packet 3 documents.

Ohhhhh thanks for explaining! :)
Here you get pack 3 from the embassy. Once NVC has transferred the case you get snailmail from the embassy, containing something to fill, and you also have to submit the bank stuff and the i-134 from the petitioner. Then you send that to the embassy, in the meantime you can file the DS-160 and pay the visa fee + do the medical. Once your submitted stuff is check you get put on "ready" for interview.
If I got that right! :)

Wow sounds interesting! I guess i can handle humidity in summer there in VA..since Philippines is so humid. Haha

Oh my gosh..yeah Jon, my fiancè also has the same issue with the drivers. He complains a lot about them and always compare to the drivers in Germany. He really like to go there in Germany to try driving in Autoban..i think thats the highway there in Germany right?

Yep! Autobahn is the highway.
I don't like the Europeans being so arrogant and smartassing towards the USA, but when it comes to driving... unfortunately it's really true. You can tell that we learn it really properly, it takes several hours with a licensed teacher on the passenger, you take a practical and written test after like 3-4 months of driving lessons.

You can really tell.. I always found driving school annoying, but I learned - it helps haha Never seen more car crashs within 3 hours than when we were driving up to DC :)

If your fiancee would like to talk to someone going through the same process in the same country, I can PM you my phone number.

That would be very helpful! I would appreciate that, and I'm sure Anna will as well. ☺️

Thank you, @pajobra Love your picture too. Also very proud on how well you two are handling things. Tell Chris to hung up, it will happen soon :)

@TearsOfBabylon Your comment about the gaps in the toilets doors made me laugh. So true!

And don't complain about your Embassy stage process :P It could be worse, you could be me. I can't have my medical until I have my interview scheduled. I can't schedule my interview until they authorise me. They won't authorise me until I send them all the documents (birth certificate, police clearance certificate, ds160 confirmation page, passport biographic page, i134 along with all the support documents). I'm not allowed to send them that until they contact me first. Oh well, good I'm a bit OCD so all the steps give me reassurance.

Regarding driving and traffic, I have to say drivers in Utah are exceptionally polite. Vegas was completely nuts, but in our ride there we found only 4-5 ###holes playing slalom :P

Good luck, my friends on wherever you are in this process!! We will all be stronger after this, for sure!

Hiya all :) @Estibaliz aww what a great picture. :)

My fiance is now starting to break down. He messaged me this morning and said he is not sure how much longer he can take of this nonsense. I said to him hun we are only on day 115 from received and 112 from notice. He said yeah how come all those people get aproved at 90. I said just the way things go sometimes. I won't worry until we are past 130 days from received. So lol ask me in 15 days. HA

Here is a pic of us from when I was down there a couple weeks ago. :) I sure do miss my man but I know I will be with him eventually. Just need to have patience.

You look good together but there's certainly some sadness in your eyes... I won't tell you to be patient and strong because you already are. Your NOA2 will come soon!

Спасибо большое! I'm sure there will be questions once we receive our NOA2 and prepare for the medical exam and interview. Hoping that scheduling is able to be done in such a manner as to take care of both in one multi-day trip to Kiev.
