Hi :)

At least we know they are working again on our case. Any idea how long could it take after this notice until they make a decision weather approved or denied?

Haha, us and our wishful thinking :)

We have people on the April fillers thread with that same received date, so I'm keeping a close eye on them as well as you. Want a stalker? ;)

Ah yes please!!! I've always wanted my own stalker!! Haha. But seriously, please keep me posted if you see movement from our dates in the April thread. I know I'm in-between both but I can't possibly keep up with two threads and the March whiners have definitely won over my heart. :D

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered "Man.... Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."

I wonder why they aren't responding to cases in the order they were received. This process is unfair. Makes me angry. How does someone after my submission date get approved??????? I want to file a complaint. Congrats to those individuals that were approved, but there is a process to this that they clearly aren't following fairly. Sigh

I bet they do them in order but maybe they do record checks and some take longer than others ?I'm not sure.. I feel the same as you!

I'd say it's a matter of luck. Ours was approved in 5 days (actually 3 working days) but some people have to wait for a couple of weeks or even months.

I do hope you are approved soon!

Hey everyone! Got a random question here for any who might know the answer:
My F started a new job and he thinks it will turn into a work from home job, is that something he could continue to do once he got here? If he is just working from home, for a company in Romania, could he do that from here without any troubles since he wouldn't be working for a company in the US?
It was just a thought that he had mentioned to me. If he could do that, that would be pretty great till he got his card to work here.

I am going to do the same. I work for a Spanish company while living in Ukraine, and I think I don't have to stop because I won't be stealing any workplace from American citizens. The only thing he should find out before leaving is what to do with taxes.

@Holly♡         As long as they have a work permit in the USA... it doesn't matter where the work comes from it matters where it is performed.

I'm not sure I can agree with that. Let's say I want to visit my friends in Poland and teach my online students from there for a week. Will I need a Polish work permit? I doubt that. Technically my job is performed where my students are.

Actually you do its the law...You may want to do your research.. I just know because I work in payroll/HR and deal with these types of things all the time. You should watch an episode of border patrol. its very serious to perform work in a country that you are not allowed to.  Here is a link : https://www.uscis.gov/working-united-states/working-us you can read a little more about it.    Trust me.. you do not want to be caught working especially if you are in this process.

Also I'm not sure about Poland (I just am talking about north America)

BTW I am polish ! and was born in Poland! living in Canada :)
