That became a running gag!

I didn't try myself on the oven yet. It's beyond different to everything German, so I'll need a tutorial, hehe.

And he wants to upgrade from a Queensize to a Kingsize bed.... because he's blaming ME for needing too much space. My prince charming haha

I was reading my fiance's divorce decree and giggled at the line about financial support for the 5 kids. It says other and says that the mother feels that she can look after the children without any financial support because she recently got a big windfall from a relative who died. The sad thing is my fiance's ex was for a while calling complaining about needing money and how broke they were. Apparently she blew through 700k in 2 years and is now asking the kids to give their piece of the inheritance to her.  Each of the 5 kids got 25k. She stopped calling Chris regularly once he got engaged to me. I am thinking that she thinks she made a mistake cheating on him 4 years ago and then marrying that guy and talking my fiance into signing the kids over to the said guy for adoption. My fiance has figured that in spite of missing his kids like crazy he is in a better spot and he still does send the kids things although never money usually gift cards or actual gifts of things they need so that the ex won't take from them. Its so sad. We plan on going to visit the kids asap after I get there. They live in California.

My fiance bought a new bed for us just before I came to visit him last January since he was in a single. LMAO

HA thats funny we have a double bed and it works for us although we have talked about buying a queen when we move into a two bedroom and putting the double in the spare room for our guests aka my family. LOL As for the oven well its all the same as what we have here in Canada for the most part so no problems for me there. My fiance came home to me cooking dinner one day and said omg you are using all 4 burners I don't think all 4 have ever been used before. LOL

😁 we are going for a queen 👑 size bed as the apartment isn't really big enough 😁 oh I'm cooking tonight 😋 Ravioli and Riceoroni and strawberry 🍓 cake for dessert ☺

Scott moved into a 2 bed/2 bathroom apartment already once he got back, and he got a queensize. But appearantly he's scared of getting kicked off lol (JERK!!!! )

Ugh you're lucky. German kitchen stuff is soooooo different. I couldn't even use the microwave lol 
I will use my time being an unemployed alien for learning how to use electronics and to drive stateside without getting in a car crash

Actually we have talked about moving to a bigger place eventually,I think still in Lansdale as Lisa loves where she works,there is a pet store 5 minutes from apartment we went Sunday afternoon and they allow volunteers to work for them so I got a job application form for when I come over lol 😂 the plus side is they have puppies 🐶 for adoption so I could play wth them all day 😁😁😁

APPROVED!!!!! Just got the email notification from USCIS, dated July 5th. Our NOA1 date was March 28.
So shocked!! Just this morning I had posted asking if anyone with our NOA1 date has been approved yet!! Was also so worried about an RFE because we didn't send formal letters of intent. But today I got an email that we are approved and they will mail our notice. Our VJ estimate was July 5-11 so right on.

That sounds great and just what you need too.  I probably will look for somewhere to volunteer too because I think I am gonna need to keep busy somehow.

Wow you musta had easy background checks. So happy for you.  I do think that me and a few other march filers will be moving to the April forums in a week or so. LOL Congrats on your approval. So you got an email? Is it approved on the uscis website too?

Yes - I had created a login on the USCIS site and saved my receipt number, and turned on email notifications.https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/logon.do so I got an email
