Notice date - June 28.

In spite of being awfully sleepy at 5.30 this morning, I noticed from the very first moment that Eric was suspiciously happy, great excitement was gleaming through his usual poker face:) And then he showed me the letter!!! I was literally jumping!!! So happy and relieved right now!

My dearest March Whiners, thank you very much for being so nice and supportive!

Those who are still waiting - I do hope you are all approved very soon!

Yay congrats. So very happy for you. *does a happy dance* Look forward to watching you go through the rest of the process.

Not sure where your consulate is, but just a friendly advice. Make sure that's the right procedure for your country, because I've seen people scheduling before being contacted by the Embassy, and then having some trouble because of that.

Good luck!

Welcome :)

We sent response to rfe on 30.06.

I guess passport stamps and bank statement showing cash withdrawal in Croatia will do best job. Even though we sent more evidence, concert tickets with photos having a date and place stamp. Hope we will hear soon from them and hope it will be a news to celebrate ;)

Vacation was good thanks for asking, my fiance and his son left for Chicago on 30th of June. I moved to my parents with my son in order to spent more time together and save on rent money.

Remember our guessing ( your and mine), they are boys they should get a long...

Omg we were totally wrong about that. All is fine except our kids do not get a long at all. We will have to work on this issue. My fiance rented an apartment before he came here. We choose furniture together and yesterday it come. We were both very excited

He sent me pics of everything, I can hardly wait to go and to continue living together but this time in Chicago in our apartment.

This was an update hahhaahh about everything

Once again I wish your rest of the process is so smooth and quick!

I was so happy reading you got approved I almost cry

Hugs

I hope yours is approved as fast as ours after being received.

It's great that you had a good time with your fiance, and choosing furniture must have been fun too:)

Yeah, we were too optimistic about the boys getting along... Apparently not only girls can be difficult... I think boys in general are goal oriented, so if you could think of some project to involve both of them, it might help.

Hugs to you and Dani:)

I would type it and just sign at the bottom. But i don't think it makes a difference if you type it or write it by hand.

I think it is supposed to be hand written. That's what I was told when I was doing it. A written statement.

It doesn't have to be handwritten, just a wet signature. I think written there it's just used as opposite to verbal :)

But handwritten is ok too, of course.

Woohoo, so fast! That's incredible to hear!

If anyone else is working on scheduling interviews, do let us whiners know how far your embassies are booked out for :)

And anyone else left in my "still waiting for NOA2 camp"? LOL feel so lonely as it seems most of March has gotten theirs, which is wonderful news!

I don't think there's any reason to freak out yet!!  It looks like you're just hitting your timeline estimate.  I know it's hard when others have gotten theirs early though.  Hang in there.  It'll be coming soon!

They are just giving you the standard reply. Technically if your case is received, it is pending a decision. Which means it will either be approved, denied (highly unlikely) or returned with a request for additional evidence (RFE). So yes, it's just waiting for a decision. Most people are getting approvals within 90-120 days after their application being received. Today is exactly 3 months from my received date (3/28) and I'm not estimated by VJ to get an approval until at least July 5th but I'm expecting it to be closer to 120 days at least just based on experience from the previous month filers.

The Jan'17 date is just their standard guideline of processing times. It means that as of the date reported, there are no cases pending that are older than January 15th. But that doesn't mean that they aren't working on cases after that date because tons of February filers were approved and many March filers have been approved in the last few weeks.

It's highly doubtful that you will have to wait a couple more months. Maybe one more month at most, but you should expect to get an update on your case within the next couple of weeks. Unfortunately until the USCIS processing date has passed your filing date there's not much you can do other than wait for an answer via letter sent in the mail.

Still patiently waiting.. I haven't checked the site for an update. I told myself i will just get surprised on its arrival so as not expecting anything.
