where can you have it Notarized that dont cost anything?      i have asked our  town hall about it and they sy its  not  needed.. then i ask my embassy and they say i do need it .. its  ll  complicated like no one  knows what they should do

Maybe you should ask at your regional forum. Here I did have to pay about $8. Seems insignificant compared with the other costs. I don't suppose notaries do anything for free:)

Notice date - June 28.

In spite of being awfully sleepy at 5.30 this morning, I noticed from the very first moment that Eric was suspiciously happy, great excitement was gleaming through his usual poker face:) And then he showed me the letter!!! I was literally jumping!!! So happy and relieved right now!

My dearest March Whiners, thank you very much for being so nice and supportive!

Those who are still waiting - I do hope you are all approved very soon!

Hope you don't mind me asking this on here but I was wondering when we filed our i129f we both the intent to marry statement but I didn't file a separate one if that makes sense. Do you think we'all get an RFE for this? I know we're gonna get one as he forgot his birth certificate so I'm not sure if it's worth me posting my intent to marry him so it'll get to him for hopefully when our rfe arrives back?

It's not quite clear what you did with the intent to marry statement but if you didn't submit a separate letter signed by you, you will probably get an RFE, so it would be a good idea to send your letter to your fiance now to save time.

If I understand right, you wrote a letter of intent for you both together.
It's supposed to be one with wet signature for each of you.
I agree with @Eric&Olya; you should send one to your fiancé to save time in case of a RFE.

By the way, girls and guys; I just tracked my case on the USCIS page for fun: Still received. :D

Can I track it anywhere now that it's at the NVC stage? Or can I only track once I received the NVC number?
Anyone got a link in case? :)

You can't track it until you get assigned a number by the NVC

I have a similar question to this, I didn't send a separate letter of intent signed by me (we thought "evidence of intent to marry" could be my wedding dress receipt etc.) so I am worried we will get an RFE for this. I did think of sending him a signed letter ahead to save time but it seems it is supposed to be a dated letter, so how would I date it? If I did it today dated July 4th and then we got an RFE dated July 15th or something like that, wouldn't that look confusing to the officer, like how did we know we were getting an RFE before we even got it.

Thank you! Have you sent your response back? How is your vacation going on?

Welcome :)

We sent response to rfe on 30.06.

I guess passport stamps and bank statement showing cash withdrawal in Croatia will do best job. Even though we sent more evidence, concert tickets with photos having a date and place stamp. Hope we will hear soon from them and hope it will be a news to celebrate ;)

Vacation was good thanks for asking, my fiance and his son left for Chicago on 30th of June. I moved to my parents with my son in order to spent more time together and save on rent money.

Remember our guessing ( your and mine), they are boys they should get a long...

Omg we were totally wrong about that. All is fine except our kids do not get a long at all. We will have to work on this issue. My fiance rented an apartment before he came here. We choose furniture together and yesterday it come. We were both very excited

He sent me pics of everything, I can hardly wait to go and to continue living together but this time in Chicago in our apartment.

This was an update hahhaahh about everything

Once again I wish your rest of the process is so smooth and quick!

I was so happy reading you got approved I almost cry

Hugs

It would not look confusing. You can also just sign it and leave out the date to be filled out by your fiancee if needed. The goal is to have a signed letter ready to be sent if you get an RFE so to not waste additional time.

Ok thank you! Is there any difference if the letter is hand-written or typed, any recommendation?
