I miss my fiancé so much.. Last night we talked about a lot of things. I told him I feel sad about leaving my family here.  He assured me that we will go back here at least once a year or my parents can come visit since they have good ties here.. that made me feel better but I'm still very sad.. A lot of adjustments for me. :)) Right now I'm feeling so stressed too about the MCN. I hope it'll be here until Monday next week. :)) so I can have my medical on the 13th and they can schedule me already for my sputum smear and culture test.. I can't wait. :)) 

Prospect date of moving is last week of October. :)) I have faith in Him and I know He knows the desires of our hearts. 😊 This 4 years of long distance will definitely end this year, because we're closing the distance for good.. We claim it 😊😊

Oh, haha! Now that you say it.... nope, we never thought of proof for that lol Oh darn! But I'm sure they looked up his military "vita" on the background checks.
We really sent only the minimum of what was required.
I had 8 together pics from Germany and my USA visits, all selfies in different cities, one of them a selfie with his parents and sister. 
Also my boarding passes from the 2 visits, along with the stamps in the passport. 
That was it.

Now that I look at it from here... darn we really sent NOTHING compared to what all of you have submitted. If I'd have known about this forum before sending the petition we'd have probably sent much more!

I can totally understand your feelings. I'm leaving a LOT here as well... it's not family so much, because I don't have many people. But it's my terrific social life with music and music family, touring all over Germany for concerts... In the past 4 years I met and friended so many amazing girls and guys that it will be heartbreaking to leave them behind and not be part of the tourlife anymore. The only "good" thing on that is, that we're all spread out all over Germany and neighbor countries, so I see them online most of the time. But the coming together will be missing.... Aside from the festival season in summer I'm at at least 2 concerts a month... that will leave a big social hole in my life. Although it's worth it it hurts.

Yeah. Thank you for the very big hug! :)) It's just when i leave, my parents will feel really sad. It's because I'm their only daughter. I have no siblings. So when I leave, they will feel incomplete.. It was hard asking them about this but when they met my fiancé, even if it was hard, they felt better because he assured them he will take care of me. 

You can always come back to Germany and enjoy those concerts! ❤️ Once in a while. Hugs for you also! :))

I have a brother, who has a wife and 3 kids. Except for my oldest niece they live close to my mom, but still don't see each other often. My dad died when I was 3,5 years old and my mom will be alone once I'm gone. I live an hour away from her and pop over for coffee for 2-3 hours almost every Saturday. I did formally ask her if she has anything against me leaving (feeling sick or anything), but she gave her blessing. 
Otherwise I'd have stayed. 
So that will be a hard thing to do. Yet she acts cool, but I can tell, as closer the d-day comes.... it will become super hard.

You're right..  I'm just thankful that I have 3 cousins who lives with us, one will just turn 2 years old this October  :))y grandparents are here too.. at least they can cheer my parents up.. 

 

That's why when we are all still here we should spend time with our loved ones already ❤️

I have a question RE informed delivery. Don't get the sign up process...Do you have to receive a verification code first by mail to be able to see your mail from the app?

I remember there was something about a verification code there, but we skipped that. I think there was some button to keep going on?

I just logged in on my laptop and was able to skip that and chose the question verification instead (was doing that on my phone before). Thank you!

It's rather ironic how the 'seperation' really never goes away..... It just transfers from one foot to the other.  What you both are talking through is the same conversation I'm sure we all are having as we plan how we are going to manage in the 'new normal'.  I hope your family is tech savvy and can navigate Skype or other video calls, as I'm sure this will help some - but never takes the place of actually Being There.  Reading your post reminded me of Jer. 29:11.  I'm sure there is going to be a Great Adventure in store for you.

 

And yes, We certainly hope for those noa2's to be filled in this week, Every day is consumed with the thoughts of NOA2, NOA2, NOA2 LOL

Customs was a breeze lol 😂 only asked why I'm visiting and if I was carrying any food and when I came to USA last ☺ easiest entry I've had
