I'm not sure if it's the same, but the DS-160 is valid for 30 days after you have submitted it.

I think the 30 days refer to how long you can save a form to keep editing and working on it. I don't think it has an expiration date once it's submitted :)

Oh no I've submitted mine already 😨😨

My fiance got an email from NVC with our case number last week and it said on it that I could submit the DS160 while I waited to hear from my embassy.  So I submitted it last week (as per the instructions) and after being in transit for a week, my case only changed to "ready" yesterday.  I think you should be okay!!

You are right.  Read it again.  haha!  but anyhow, you can make another one if there are changes after you have submitted it. :)

Yeah, it's really awkward.
I mean, I'm 37 and living in my own household for 13 years. There's a lot of stuff in this apartment... :/
I need to get it done soon, before I start mourning for my spoons and plates. :D

But seriously. I got really sentimental the other day... 6 boxes and a suitcase is really not much.

Yes, you can be glad you don't have to move. I told Scott he's so lucky. He just has to wait, while I have to deassemble all my life, deal with the "no date to plan" thing (which really stresses me out, because a) I'm German, b) I'm highly organized and always prepared and c) I'm German AND highly organized haha)  and try to deal with this whole unclear situation.
So I kind of like the waiting time at K-1, because it gives a little time to do stuff properly and then be really ready to leave.

That's how it would be for me.  I'm 30 with two kids and a whole household of stuff.  I just moved states and couldn't even manage to get rid of as much as I had planned with that.  At least you can channel your need for organization into getting rid of thing systematically?  Heh.  Once the stuff is out of sight, I think it will be easier.  There's something about looking at a thing that makes you want to keep it, but I haven't spared a single thought for anything I got rid of in the move so far.  Funny that way.  Good luck to you in deciding what precious things those six boxes will hold!

You can download the Case Tracker & Searcher app on the AppStore :) Then you can sign up for Informed Delivery by USPS https://m.usps.com/m/Home

Anyone know if this tracker has accurate data?

Awwwwww!!!! <3

Since I can't quote every single one of you:

THANKS TO YOU ALL!!!

I still can't believe it, but it seems it's true! :)

First thing I did was deleting the darn case tracker (like you, @GazLisa haha), which was still showing "received". FELT SO GOOD!

Someone asked if we got any electronic alert before: Nope, we only have the letter!

I keep my fingers crossed for all who are still waiting!! Chins up - it will come! :):)

Oh, and I danced before I even got into my office chair, because Scott caught me right before I wanted to leave for work.
But instead of that I wildly hugged my coworkers, who are soooo happy for me! One even cried! It's so sweet to know how much some people care! <3

Congrats
