For what I've seen AP is a normal thing happening. Then, how long it can last is the tricky part to determine. Most of the time is a short period while they are issuing the visa, buy it seems to be more of a serious thing for extra checks in some countries...

No they gave me the  MMR and  DKTB  shots  and  they told me i could get  flu  symptoms and other  things  from the  DKTB  one.

Yeah, it's really awkward.
I mean, I'm 37 and living in my own household for 13 years. There's a lot of stuff in this apartment... :/
I need to get it done soon, before I start mourning for my spoons and plates.  

But seriously. I got really sentimental the other day... 6 boxes and a suitcase is really not much. 

Yes, you can be glad you don't have to move. I told Scott he's so lucky. He just has to wait, while I have to deassemble all my life, deal with the "no date to plan" thing (which really stresses me out, because a) I'm German, b) I'm highly organized and always prepared and c) I'm German AND highly organized haha)  and try to deal with this whole unclear situation. 
So I kind of like the waiting time at K-1, because it gives a little time to do stuff properly and then be really ready to leave.

Hello everyone how are you guys doing today?? I just have a question so I just checked my status on NVC and it's in transit and it also says your interview date was provided to you by the national visa center. So does that mean they scheduled  the interview date for me?🤔

I'd assume they're meaning they let you book one.
I haven't heard of anyone being invited by the embassy.

That's a canned message from NVC that you can ignore

Proceed as your Embassy says you have to.

You can know track it on the ceac website to know when it's ready for the next step. Remember you have to look under Immigrant.

Well, you can start filling the DS-160 if you want, as long as you don't submit it until you get contacted by your Embassy. Apparently that's how it works for the Netherlands (also here in Spain), that you have to wait before doing anything else...

This is so trippy...I checked my NVC case status in the morning, it said "at NVC" then again 3 hours later and it said "Ready" then checked again a couple of minutes ago and it says "at NVC". I can't be making this up, i even updated my timeline with the given details when it said Ready...

You know, I'm not familiar with this part of the process yet, but I don't think that's going to be a problem, since submitting is required as a first step for the rest of the Embassy stage process. I just think it's better to tell people to wait at least until the Ready message, but that's me being cautious with my advice and in the process, because I've seen people rushing things and getting into trouble. But again, I think you are fine
