My fiance just scheduled his first shipment of boxes.  Getting real    I really hope we don't end up rejected because then I'll have half his stuff here!

Hehe, my first box arrived as well! Number 2-6 are going piece by piece! That's what will be left of my life. 6 boxes and an overloaded suitcase.
I was thinking the same opposite. If we get rejected all my stuff is in the states with him haha

Ah, I don't envy you beneficiaries! It must be so stressful dealing with this process AND being the one who has to move to another country! I'm bringing my fiance a giant, lightweight duffle bag when I go visit him in September and he will bring only what he can fit in that bag when he comes to the US. lol. He only really has clothes and shoes so its easy for us.

We will likely be moving back to India together next year or the year after. When that time comes I will have to ship a box or two then because there are some things like my records that I just can't part with!

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered "Man.... Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."

It must be so hard to pare your life down like that and then to ship it off without certainty.  I know it would be really tough for me.  In that sense, I guess I should be thankful I couldn't move to him. Ha!  Here's hoping none of our March filers have to go through the heartache of being rejected <3

Hello.  I been  busy past week with getting  Vaccinations  and  paperwork done.

I saw a few people get  AP (administrative processing)  after  approval at the  interview..

Is this something to worry  about??   Who do they scan  ?

Did they give you the flu shot? I thought that was only necessary when it was the flu season 😕 Hope you are feeling better!

For what I've seen AP is a normal thing happening. Then, how long it can last is the tricky part to determine. Most of the time is a short period while they are issuing the visa, buy it seems to be more of a serious thing for extra checks in some countries...

It is saying received, no updates online.  However yesterday I checked my estimated date to be adjudicated on my timeline and it was June 28- July 5.  Ours was approved 4 days prior to the estimate. I hope that is the trend for everyone waiting.
